Mark, I’m interested in that shot, if it’s not too much hassle to scan. I’ve sent you an e-mail. If I were you, I’d remove the e-mail address again to save yourself from receiving spam in due time.

As for copies of the finished product… I won’t be giving the 3D model away but I’ll certainly make some wallpapers of it… and more 😉

I didn’t know of any big stack of Jumos either 😀

But if there is… how about a Ta 152? :p

Now anybody fancies building Do 335 replicas or finishing the Ho 229 V3? :rolleyes:
(the 335 would be a mind boggling airshow performer for sure!!!!! ;))

I guess from a maintenance point of view (it’s a kit afterall) the Allison engine may be a wiser choice. Cheaper and easier to get parts. Potentially more reliable too.
But then again you know a lot more of this stuff than I do 🙂

Wow, I didn’t realize that Corsair mainspars were that complex

The Corsair is an insanely complex machine. I am modelling one now in 3D and it’s just mad all the silly unlogical details all over the place. From a distance it looks like a nice plane, but up close it’s a whole collection of problem fixes… :rolleyes:

I’d love to do an F2G as it’s a great looking beast, but I’m afraid that’s a bit too much of a conversion… I don’t think I’ll have enough time… 🙁

Nice one I just found in “US Army Air Forces in the Pacific”. It’s a Black Widow of the 421 NFS buzzing Puerto Princess, Philippine Islands.

Nice indeed! That baby-Lightning is a bit silly, by the way! 😀

I’m surprised I haven’t seen many cropdusters yet? They do low flying for a living 🙂
