In the video you certainly hear the gunfire going off, but you don’t hear any warning given to the approaching vehicles. You do hear the radio operator at the end, but no warning. So that leads me to conclude that these actions were not sanctioned by anyone.

Were these hooligans intent on murder? Of course not, if they were, they would have turned their guns into the on-coming traffic. This Lt. Col. Spicer (the guy in charge of Aegis) has a history of complaints against him stemming from his dealings in Northern Ireland.

Anyway, here is a claim from a blogger (take it as you will) claiming the shooter in the video is Danny Heydenreycher, a former British Soldier from South Africa.

Here are two links to this story:

What’s wrong with warning shots? They’re trying to make it sound like the contractor guys are just firing off rounds for amusement without having the full story.

Ummm…actually the contractors were firing shots as amusment. The video surfaced on the internet about 2 weeks ago. It’s quite disgusting. The “contractors” responsible for this senseless act are Aegis Defense Service.

Here is a link to download the video. (Warning: Although no one appears to die in the video. It’s quite brutual in its un-humane usage of firepower)

Here is an article by Corp Watch back in April of 2005 expressing their views on how unqualified Aegis are at dealing with Iraqi security.

This skit always makes me laugh. It’s perfect satire of our internet generation. The arguing about politics over the internet is just hilarious.

I apologize if theories are too soon, Mods please delete if you find this inappropriate.

The starting point or jumping off point seems to be Kings Cross. All the trains and the bus at one time passed through that intersection. It would seem the perpetrators meet at that point, delivered the bombs and probably set it off by remote (possibly using their cell phones). I think if MI-5 concentrated on Kings Cross it would narrow their search.

Anyone else have theories as to how the bombs were delivered?

    Looks pretty perpendicular to me

Everyone is just going to dance around this with their own opinions anyway. I still think the J-10 is an F-16/Mirage 2000 combo meant to counter Taiwan’s.

And using CIA intel to prove Isreali help? Isn’t CIA intel also responsible for the High Strength Aluminum Tube to Iraq debacle? Sorry, but the CIA is about as credible as Pak-Def.

Just out of curiousity, is Russia known for Tailess Delta design? Flogger, you claim that the reason why the J-10, in the end, differs so much from the Lavi is due to Russian assistance. But aren’t Russians known more for the large Twin Engine designed aircrafts? To my knowledge, I do not know of many Russian Single Engine Tailess Delta design. That’s mostly Western European.

Let me throw this one at you. Since we know Taiwan has the F-16 MLUs. Is it possible that the J-10 structure was taken from Taiwan’s F-16, redesigned with a tailess delta platform to service the PLAAF’s desire for a more fuel effecient longer range Fighter?

certainly a bold design. Wings seems to be inspired by gliders. It certainly should help the 787 reach the long range target that it promises to do.

Anyway, you have to give Boeing their due. They certainly are more courageous with their designs then Airbus. A giant double decker airplane. Yeah, the tower at O’hare in Chicago are going love having to delay all the other flights just so the A380 can land in a blizzard. Then the ground crew will love having to change ramps just for the A380 alone. That’s why Airbus=winner!
