Brilliant news. At last an alternative for us Northerners who want an alternative to the no-frills. I will certainly patronise GB. Lets hope they start MAN-GIB and free us from the hateful services of ZB.

I think GB will do well. Not everyone wants no-frills and scheduled ops at MAN were becoming increasingly dominated by no-frills carriers. Let them that want it have it but those of us who are a little more discerning have a choice too!

If this is true its truly great news. I love the 757 and I think they are more versatile for MYT than those 321s. Let hope those expensive to lease 757 wannabes are going!

i should imagine tatoos are frowned upon by the airlines, although the no-frills probably wont mind!

I hate to see a nice-looking young lad with a tatoo, its awful and I think a lot of the travelling public associate tattos with thuggery. It wouldnt inspire confidence if a flightdeck crew member cam out in shirt sleeves and his arms were covered with tatoo, its not in keeping with the image!

They call Luton a London airport and thats a hoot! We all know Luton isnt London or anywhere near! Luton is the place of charter flights, wicker Spanish donkeys and Lorraine Chase, always will be despite the no-frills airlines wanting us to believe they fly from a legit London airport!

Whats next? I bet this marks the begining of the end for hot-meals for sale, pre-bookable seats, smart cabin crew uniforms and any other semlance of service that have so far remained.
