Indian airlines certainly need some new aircraft. the existing 320s are like the first ever!

I dont think the 320s are the right aircrfat for Indian airlines. They would be better with the NG737. In fact they were better off with those old 732s than the awful 320s that replaced them. Have they only crashed the one 320? I wouldnt be at all suprised to find that a few of those computer planes had gone down.

I need to get to LGW not LHR so BA are my only choice. I cant be doing with flying to LHR and then getting bus to LGW is a f*****g nightmare and if I were to do that it would be quicker to walk to LGW!

No it looks like they have got me by the short and curlies! I will have to pay for a return and just waste the return ticket. its a shame though and a waste of money.

I used to like Monarch very much indeed. I loved ZB before they went no frills. They were an excellent scheduled leisure airline with lower fares but good service. I had flown them since they began theri Monarch Crown service from Luton in the 80s.

I am sad to see the direction in which they are going, particularly the scheduled operation. I used to try and use MON for charter in recent years as you could book Monarch Plus for a very small extra charge and get an upgraded meal and free drink, very nice. Cosmos holidays offered the Plus service on their holidays. Do MON charter still offer Plus?

I love the A300-600R and I hope they continue to serve with Monarch for a long time. Not keen on the A330 though!

Oh for heavens sake! Is nowhere free now from the no-frills carriers.

Coventry, Bournemouth, Teeside, Manston. Where next? Cambridge? Southend? Norwich?

Some of their advertising is inspired though. Flying from BHX last week, I saw a brilliant billboard with the slogan ‘Birmingham is expecting a baby’ Brilliant I thought!

I gave due credit to their pre-bookable seats, a welcome touch for no-frills.

Their call-centre, misleading price advertising, scruffy looking t-shirts, awful food and drink and delapidated aircraft interiors warrant criticism.

Flown them twice. The in-flight drink and snack selection, available for purchase is apalling. I like the fact you can pre-book seats though, its much more civilised.

The watery cup a soups are an insult. Why not offer decent sandwiches, people would pay for them, Im sure!

The scruffy cabin staff T-shirts, look like they have been washed on a slightly too warm cycle and the white has greyed.
