Hi,
I am trying to find some raw guess about energy density of solid propellant to compare it with air breathing engine like turbine. AFAIK, petroleum based fuel can have very high energy density, above 40MJ/kg while propellant is mostly based on explosive which is under 10MJ/kg. But they add binder and other high energy material like aluminum to propellant, so I don’t know in practice, how much energy is propellant
Regards
A bit late response, but I hope this paper helps you out.

INS Vikramaditya on operational deployment

: With INS Vikramaditya on operational deployment with the Western Fleet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will board the aircraft carrier for a ceremonial day at sea in mid-June. The ship was to have been ceremonially welcomed into Indian service under the previous government, but a combination of factors, including dates for the PM and the ship’s work-up to operational status, forced the Navy to postpone the event. In many ways, Modi’s welcoming of the Vikramaditya is symbolic: it was the NDA’s previous Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee under whose tenure the original contract for the Admiral Gorshkov was signed. The ship, delivered after several stops and starts over a decade, was finally commissioned into Indian service last November. Modi is likely to witness the entire gamut of carrier borne operations, including MiG-29K flights, missile firing from other vessels, and possibly off-deck submarine operations.

When one drags Pakistan into any conversation, it only demeans the conversation. Let’s not do that.
Well played sir, well played 🙂
Hopefully, the IAF will stay far far away from Ka-226T. Russia is the only operator and all O&S materiel will have to be procured from Russia’s Rosborsomethingexport. Whereas the Fennec is used by the thousands worldwide and spares will be readily available from multiple certified aftermarket EMs.
Euros have a tie up with TATA to produce Fennec locally while Russians have tied up with Elcom group to produce Ka-226 locally. That should give armed forces plenty of breathing space as far as HAL is concerned with after sales support. There will always be a back up.
