Yeah. I know. I tell people to make back-ups of stuff all the time – and I always write 2 CD’s of everything, and write a CD of original files before working on images, etc etc. But, I had no way to transfer, and just never got around to it….sound familiar?

The thing is, it was a totally stupid ****up. I had bought 3 blank tapes, one which was part used. I changed this one out as I didn’t know if i’d have enough space. The other one had been fast forwarded past all the footage – except wife said mum-in-law wanted to see it, so i rewound it. wife and mum in law didn’t get around to it. Hence the tape went in my bag. I then went off for the weekend. Thatw as in a seperate compartment in the bag, and SHOULD have beens afe. Hohum. Instead of a blank tape, this tape went in. Just sheer incompetence, nothing more or less.

There was no back-up. I borrowed the camcorder from my brother, and he has no leads for transferring it.

If any of you find out the names of the pilots, please PM me asap. I am concerned for a friend who flies them.

    Many thanks,

    Mark

Recording over the tape of my daughter an hour after she was born. And the six months following. ~~~ Still totally gutted.

I’ll think about aircraft bit. However, this years Legends, standing with Moggy, Kev, and Moggy’s tall mate, the lady in front in a short skirt bent right over and scrabbled about on the floor with no underwear on. That was enjoyable. She was quite fit too. Luckily it was a warm day.

I missed that. X4590 WAS PR-F. Sydney Hill flew it.

There WAS life outside Duxford. Until the Red Lion’s chef hit it with his car and served it up for Moggy.
