Good show! Lets import the unruly mob from AFM over here to play!

Cricket is crap. It’s too long, the clothes suck, it’s boring and makes no sense. My favourite is the woman with the hot-dog stand.

I hang around with friends on the Historic board mostly. But apart from threads like this:

    http://www.keypublishing.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16937

I find more opportunity to ‘chill out’ amongst friends here.

The AFM board makes me bored. Those guys are mad.

Looked all over the house for a CD-Rom. Can’t locate it. What you need is the ‘UK Info’ disc – Scafe won’t be a common name I shouldn’t think. UK INfo has electoral roll and directory enquiries info on it. Run a name search on Scafe and that should turn up a few. Start on the area from which he was from, then widen if neccessary. Then sound out a letter with SAE. I have located a few people in that way – most notably the brother of a pilot lost in 1943. I’ll keep looking.

Wet nose, dry nose. I just wish he wouldn’t keep licking his arse in public!

“And congrats to Snapper for mentioning Lowestoft’s finest, The Darkness”

Except I’ve never heard them. i only know of them through overhearing people talking. Besides, apparently they don’t even do weddings or parties or nothing, and they don’t seem to be playing any of the pubs here. Can’t see them making any money. Never get anywhere – mark my words.

A bit more info for you searchers:

43113 Flight Lieutenant WILLIAM JOHN SCAFE
    1 Photographic Reconnaissance Unit
    Died 7th September 1942

    (CWGC)

Now, if the MOD could give us some details on where he was from it would be quite handy. Would make it far easier to locate relatives.

“walking around the Pyramids of Giza. has to be one of the most amazing experiences in the world!”

You want camel ride? Hey. Camel ride?

I found them underwhelming in all honesty. I find a lot of stuff underwhelming now, from seeing loads of special places on various trips. Now Petra….that place was staggering! Took my breath away for hours! A vast area that is all simply amazing.

Petra (Jordan), Delphi (Greece), and Karnak (Egypt) are the three most fantastic places i’ve been to. And that new Tesco’s at Great Yarmouth. I wish i’d been able to get to Abu Simbel, but that wasn’t posssible. Baalbek in the Lebanon is also pretty high up there.
