RE: The view from Moggy’s back garden

Many Civvy Ones, (different stone, similar design, different shape) A Searchlight Regt (double badge) and a Lamplighter (Trinity House). Nice to see a WW1 grave with flowers still being placed on. And a family tomb with an RAF badge on, commemorating a lost son presumably.

Here we are Moggy. I found Mr Moxey. The stone could do with a scrub. Many stones in that cemetery, WW1 and WW2, and all need a clean. There are also Civilian war grave stones, but these have weathered really badly and are mostly illegible. Also found a lighthouse keeper, and a grave with 2 regimental badges on it.

Can send you a larger file if you wish, via email. I’ve inserted the inscription from the bottom of the stone as well.

Perhaps some ships late in the day if I can hold out no longer. This is Duxford. Mildenhall is different rules. I am returning this year, after 5 years. I have: Burger, Burger, Hot Dog, Burger, Polish Sausage, Burger, Hot Dog, Polish, Burger, Burger, Hot Dog, Burger and a Polish. They used to do Tacos – maybe this year? Or ribs? I can’t recall, because I have a Bud with every course. Popcorn – found some inside my shirt, so I guess I have that too. Can’t be bothered with jets.

Great thread – about time we woke up this weekend.

I’m with Kev on this – in fact, I may just go to Coltishall tomorrow, as I head off to view a memorial stone I am looking at purchasing for a local pilot.

But hey what do I know? I was in the infantry over 10 years ago, and I have only travelled to the middle – east a lot over the last few years.

We all have a right to our opinions Jonesy, and I have never been afraid of, or against, a scrap. Friends went to the last lot, other friends will go to this one, and yet more friends have been to all the others in between. But, prevention of *possible* future problems or not, this is NOT justifiable NOW, and has NOTHING to do with Saddam anyway. It is about making a mark in history, proving to daddy that you can do what he SHOULD have done when he was in power (and he should have, no doubt) and, for our resident smiling parliamentary prick, bending over and taking it, but letting other people pay for the pleasure (not to mention trying to stay in power when the people are finally starting to see what you and you ugly trout of a wife REALLY stand for). You are pointing your weapon at the wrong arsehole.

I respect your opinion, and you have a right to hold it, and express it, and thank God you have it and express it. And neither of us is right or wrong. No-one on here is.
