Sunday looks bleak weather-wise.
(first weather post?? yes yes?) 😀
Forgive me for not reading the entire thread. Might be way off track here.
I know that the fighter pilot I’m currently writing a book about (it’s close to print now) hopped over from Canada to the USA several times in a Stinson seaplane when he was an instructor. This was in the first months of 1941. Not sure if that qualifies as breach of neutrality, but they were indeed in uniform and came from a military training camp.
How do you explain Samuel L jackson in Shaft then?
A tad different movie and setting wouldn’t you agree?
I believe the Corsair has always had a permit.
What about Spit XIV?
No they haven’t, the Spit XIV, FG1D Corsair and Nimrod at least all have current permits (according to G-INFO last night). The Nimrod on the list is the HAC one.
You are absolutely right.
I’d say there’s still a chance for TFC participation.
Sort of like strippers. One stripper can bring her friends and I’m sure they do a swell job, but it would be rather annoying for the main stripper to be told to not show off her…ok ok..you get my point. :p
Good luck to TFC and well done for a great list of planes.
nice list – the word ‘visiting’ in the title would imply that the TFC machines would not included in the list anyway, with the TFC being the host??
Yes that’s the definition I got out of it too. But then again, they do include those planes they have a permit to fly.
I don’t think they’ve used “visiting” in their headline before. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Where did you get this list?
The TFC is indeed missing from this one…
Very sad about only one Gladiator (not complaining!)
Amazing with 4 Hurricanes…I can’t for that one.
Well I suppose you can only go on the fact that the website is produced by the official regulatory body for the UK and that info regarding if a particular aircraft has the appropriate permit is updated on a very regular basis (usually within 2-3 days)
Just speculating…
What is the latest these issues can be resolved?
Say the paperwork is done today, will it still be time to put them into the air?
I see the Gladiator falls into this disbanded category. It would be a terrible shame to everyone if it can’t fly togheter with the Shuttleworth example. I’m in desperate need for some Gladiator pictures and this would be the absolute perfect opertunity 😀
I have no idea.
Suspended sounds very “mean” if you ask me. I trust TFC to know what they’re doing and try not to worry. 😀
This, on top of the weather, drives me on the brink of mental illness of stress and worries. Ask my wife!:D

Still waiting for the participants list. It’s usually out this time of year, no?
I’m not speculating in anything really. Wish I knew what “suspended” meant. 😛
There’s a low pressure system coming in now, so hopefully that will pas before the weekend starts and we will have some nice weather. Little wind and no rain. Sunshine I don’t really care so much about as my old man will spend 50% of his time searching the grounds for shadows to retreat to!
Now there’s an enthusiast – can tell the date of a photo by looking at a woman’s a**e in shot
I said jeans, not a**e :D:D
That’s one lucky kid!
I was brought up the *right* way too…
Many years ago…90-91 I think, by the look of the jeans of that lady behind me!

I’m sure there will be enough Spitfires and Mustangs to please me. 😀
