i wish BMI would come back to MAN with their USA and Caribbean flights, they are sadly missed
thought they have busy winters ferrying the (boat) cruise people to the caribbean and back?
i have had varied routes, going from Newcastle to Orlando went a more up and over route then down the eastern seaboard, while both Heathrow and Manchester to Antigua took direct SW routes. Franfurt to Toronto was interesting, as the route took us nearly directly over Morecambe bay where we live, then across Nothern Ireland.
jet2 757 maybe?????
bring back Globespan and the pond hopping 737s when the 767 was AWOL
so do they now think the Dubai crash in Sept might have been a small bomb that ignited the fire?
Anyone remeber the cow that sunk the Japenese fishing boat? supposedly push out the back of a Russian military cargo plane !!!!
“More bad publicity for BAE…”
she does not belong to us (BAE) now!
my daughter had her easyjet flight Paris to Liverpool cancelled on Tuesday
she was with a school language trip of about 20 14 year olds
luckily the school/your op managed to despatch a coach(with a full tank of Diesel) to pick them up and bring them back Eurostar, they arrived 2 1/2 hour later than the flight would have got them home
i am referring to the 2002 BAE Scotstoun trio
aye we at BAE would pop down B&Q for wall heaters, to un-tropical them
lol
just a thought, the T26 is shelved for a medium capacity Frigate design, laid up at Barrow are 3 mini frigates/corvettes rejected by a foreign navy that were built about 5 years ago at BAE Scotstoun, it would relatively cheap to snap them up and build another 3 from existing drawings
would hope they would keep lustie, as opposed to Ocean
as her speed would be more useful for a fast deployment, even if only for disaster assistance, Ocean will probably be the one though just out of refit and more economical to run
i work on AS90 support, we are still awaiting the official number to be retained
Aye all those “boat people” cruise folk to get out there to meet there P&O ships
good to see my local airfield in the news
i fly from there on the BAE Super King when on business trips
