It was the UAE 201 heading West bound , apprently had Diveretd into FRA on its way due to a medical emergency

Kevin
WOW…what altitude was it at in that shot?
EK is the 2 letter code for Emirates (but you probably already know that anyway)
Thanks all for the comments
It was at 38000ft and a distance of about 7 miles south of Glasgow( taken from SBS1) when I took the shoot I was using a canon 40d and the Canon 100-400mm L series Is Lens
The UK government Is Bankrupt , there is no more money in the bank and is trying to raise money any way it can , and this is just another one of those schemes
Its not just avaition Sandy, how long till we cant afford to drive , never mind fly
Kevin ( soon to be horse and cart driver)
Many Thanks Guys for the comments
A330 , its a A318 CJ elite , a first visit for Glasgow of a A318CJ
It Night stopped and looks like it might be at Glasgow for a while , for the budding Graphers up here its on stand 7 tailend to the terminal 😡 not a great place for Pictures
Kevin
excellent shots , really like the Jet Airways sequence of shots , hope you get more of these shots and post them
Kevin
I belive that there was an order by BA for the A318 , but due to technical problems with the engines for the A318 BA converted the A318 orders to A320 instead, so now we have gone full circle
Look forward to see the mini bus in operation
Kevin
At least the airline is making a profit which makes them better placef than some airlines out there 🙂 It is good to see British Airways making a profit, a boost in the pay packet for the employees 🙂
Yes Its good to see BA doing well but its just a pity that the rest of the managers havent followed in their leaders footsteps and declinde their bonuses , Its the pepeole at the sharp end who deserve that little bit extra
I see that you have been listening to Donna for a change ,she taught you well :diablo: :diablo:
Good shots , like the RYR head on
Kevin
Does BAMG handle 757’s or is it BAMC ?
Hi Allen Believe that TBD at Heathrow handles the 757, BAMG handles 737, A319,A320,A 321, they did do some maintance on 757 when it was doing the NewYork routes ( thats why the extension on the Hangar roof)
BAMC do the T7 and 747
Kevin
Seem that its gone Tech tonight at Manchester, I dont know if BA have any 757 engineers at MAN , a Faulty Valve is to blame
Kevin
For anyone looking to see it,
Just had a call , about it, seems that its gone Tech at Manchester, so might not be going anywhere for atleast 24hrs
Kevin
Cheers for the comments Guys,
I have to admit i was more than disappointed in the colour scheme, the drawing on the website had a pale Blue lettering and underside, but looks like the found some left over Grey instead,
Manston, I belive that all of the 200er series will be going over to Openskies
That will be all of the G-BPE* reged 757s
Looks as though its been back to Prestwick this afternoon
Kevin
Any photo’s ? Did it arrive ???
It never showed still delayed at the moment , engine oil temp problem im told ,
Kevin
I was looking forward to seeing this and have to admit to being a little disappointed. The tail logo needs to be higher and the fuselage logo lower, with both being bigger if it could be done. Let’s see what the Twotter fleet looks like when it’s painted.
Will be taking over. The BA franchise remains in place until October. Could this aircraft be headed for the new flybe Dundee routes in the meantime?
1L.
Cheers Guys for the comments
One left , was thinking that myself , as it has been parked outside since it arrived ( across from Stand 1 at GLA) , I arrived back from ABZ tonight and Notice that it was gone from there , checked sbs and it showed up on that so it has flown , not just towed to the hangar
