Thought this would have elicited a few responses by now. Is this no longer a Spitfire type forum anymore ?
I see mentioned on Facebook that MH415 is ready for flight after rebuild, so that will be another airworthy.
Looks great, how did you find this piece?
Hi G-ABIX comes up as an Arrow Active?
Looks agricultural to me, going by the paint, similar to the red paint you see on old Threshing machines and horse drawn implements. Could be wrong of course.
Sorry can’t help you but hope you get a positive reply soon. Good luck
Thank you Bruce nice to hear both sides . Guess the nameless doyen would be Mark12, pity he doesn’t post here anymore always liked his input
Look forward to hearing more Bruce.
So there is a fair bit of provenance then?
I read your posts with interest Fleet16b, about the Canadian recreation Spitfire and guessed you meant TE294, but I was a little puzzled by it. Your last post makes it perfectly clear where you were coming from. This last post would have caused a flurry of activity by now on the old forum.?
I see that my post has been deleted which was above Trumper’s, in answer to Key Aero’s latest post. Guess it was too close to the truth, which is fair enough as they obviously must believe their own spiel.
All filled in and commented on. Too little too late springs to mind but we’ll see.
Nice one Trumper, let us know if you get a reply ?.
TerryP the way I see it, it should be better than it is and Key just don’t seem to care about this forum nor the loss of all the contributors. I don’t think it is knocking for the sake of it, just trying to get some life back into it before it totally expires.
That is very charitable of you Laurence and I hope you are right about them following us. Hopefully they will take some heed and alter things, but personally I won’t hold my breath as they have had plenty of time to sort the forum and they have done nothing but make unfulfilled promises. Which kind of tells me that we don’t really matter to them. Shame as they lost a lot of knowledgeable people on here.
Couldn’t edit my post because edit function doesn’t work, but I was going to add that if FlyPast stays the way it is going it will soon be the “ Hello “ of Aircraft mags.
