What happened to the one Gary Numan used to fly?, and while on the subject is he still flying now? Remember seeing both him and the plane at a display at Rendcombe in the late eighties/early nineties.
Bosun I’m a bit confused by your post, I know mot rules being a tester myself, but nowhere in my post that you quoted have I mentioned anything about pre1960 mot’s.
It has only attended one Sywell rally (2014), as far as I can recall…….
You may well be right, it was over by the control tower when I looked at it anyway, and pretty sure it was 2015. Anyway no matter made quite an impression.
I think Meddle could be right in that to the vast majority who attend airshows and are not as into the intricacies of what it actually is and what will need to be done to put in the air, they possibly could think that way. The true enthusiast would definitely appreciate it for what it was. Personally I can’t wait, what a fantastic project.:very_drunk:
