No it’s not a Matchless.If I’m not mistaken it is a Phelon and Moore 3.5hp.The company later built the Panther slopers.

Any more news on the official first flight photos,are they out yet and if so where?

As a bytheway,I had my first ever flight in an Auster tugmaster at Shobdon 1968,can’t remember the reg,but it was for sale at the time for £700.00, if I recall correctly.Doesn’t sound a lot now but it was a fair bit at the time.
