Yes ,congratulations and hope that you have a very Happy Birthday, and many more to come.
Don’t think that it is out yet over here,as you say they are all repeats at the moment.
Nice shot of the two-seater FW190.Is that the one that was at St Athans 20 years ago? .If it is, they used to run it at certain times, which was fantastic and I was lucky enough to see it on one of those days, very impressive.
At Shobdon,in an Auster tugmaster which was for sale at the time(£700.00 I seem to remember),it was 1968 and I was 13 at the time.Brother was learning to fly there at the time and we had gone along this day to have a look and that is how it came about.Dave Miles was the pilot who took me and we did a circuit,I thought it was wonderful.

If it means more restorations, great, but somehow I doubt it.Not a great fan of CGI and the original film will be a hard one to follow, but we’ll have to wait and see.I wish them good luck with it.

The science museum in London has a nice engine collection, can’t think of anything closer to you though.Sorry.
It would be nice!
Thanks JDK for confirming my post.
I hope you arent calling brits backward my dear boy 😉 Racial slurs and all that :diablo:
That siad we drive on the correct side of the road, as do the japanese 😉
It is my understanding that America used to drive on the left of the road in some States,if not all in the early days of motoring.
Gunston’s Encyclopaedia,1986,P.137 has: “Half a dozen development V-1650s were made by Continental”. Curiouser and curiouser.
Thanks alertken and Merlinpete for your replies,I remember reading an article back a bit ago by Graham White in EAA Warbirds mag where he said that Continental had built Merlins but not how many.
Fantastic, what a brilliant achievement, hats off to all involved.
Nige,it hasn’t been published yet that’s why nobody has it in stock.
Amazon or The Book Depository,or even Grub Street.
