Strange how they categorise it by country, then sort it by each airport and each destination…surely it would have been easier to organised it just by origin airport and destination?

It’s the way that the data is reported to ICAO/CAA and remember that the CAA is reporting UK statistics so it has a duty to show figures for individual UK airports.

Table 11.1 or 12.1. It’s all there. You just need to copy the .csv into excel and then sort.

My guess would be that they are ex Royal Australian Navy machines and were intended for heli-logging operations. My next guess would be that the accident to ZH-HVK (ex XS509), see link, put a question in the mind of the ‘authorities’ and they were grounded.:(

No, the ones for sale are ex RAF and came from the store at Fleetlands some years back. The accident above pretty well put paid to further opeartions with them.

I’m a Hearts fan and I can tell you all about the trials and tribulations of having a rich, foreign petulant owner who perpetually interferes with team selction and who doesn’t brook any criticism from the coaching or playing staff. Everybody is expendable. 🙁

Apropos of nothing in particular, my eldest son’s godfather (Giorgi Boos) was the Federal Tax Minister in one of Yeltsin’s last series of governments.

We don’t talk to him now but I do have good video of him singing on the stage with my wife at our wedding reception.

Now that they have rediscovered the travel bug, maybe they will show up at more airshows abroad. Can I be the first to start the ‘Bear at Legends 08’ rumour…?

So 4kgs of book is actually doing it a bit short? With a book like that, you no longer need a coffee table!

A few more volumes and you won’t need bricks for your house either..
