The last time they did it they forgot a very importamt part. Something with fuelpressure release… Not sure.
Anyway… I doubt that the Turks will go on with the old phantoms… Everything has its limits…
Look at an average lithium ion laptop accu… You sur eit has only two connections? Maybe a pach has parallel connections…
Bring it on: the question about shooting ******* is flaming. Those guys are called freedomfighters or terrorists. Same for occupational force or liberators. Let us stay out of that or do we have to remember those prison pictures and talk about civil rights? I don’t think so. The uav is just a cheap hand launched (or wire) with digital camera. The missing cassete looks like a battery pack. Same conection as those on a laptop. And it will be a LI-Iron. Nothing special.
**edited by WM ** we
showed them the door on F16, while Pak fawns and wags tail like the obedient dog….but still doesnt get even used F16.the P3C is the leading ASW ac in the world bar none. I guess
some classified US systems would be replaced by alternates
to be chosen by india.
Thanks for the first reply but keep that second one. I think that Pakistan and the US is a different league. They never supported Pakistan during wartime. Remember the blocking of spare parts for the sabres? And we all remember soyabeans. But Don’t get excited over a few P3c’s… It is just to make some politicians happy so India may be used to counter China. Nothing more nothing less. Otherwise I would compare the Indian behaviour during Afghan war as being a… Please take me.. Please take me…
I thought the list was longer. Didn’t the US offered F16? And E2c (new built)?
The F-16 is still a very capable machine. Out selling both the Mirage and Gripen combined. 😀 That should say alot for it orginal design……….
Same with Mig21 derivatives. Does it mean that Mig 21 is superb compared to the competitors?
About USA policy not selling certain weapons to certain even trusted allies/sattelites…. As long as they fully support Israel, that is not much better then those others, there is not a sign of sane behaviour.
I love the Argus photos. As a Saab 340 fan, I must say it’s nice to see it in military colors.
Same here. But the Argus 004 plane was a former Greece Awacs platform. AFM mag page 50 feb 2002 edition. Did they remove the radar or is this pic older?
About the PAF intrests in Erieye. Anyone know which plane is will be? EIther the Greek Saab 340 or the Saab 2000.
The specifications of both planes are:

If it is the longer one then PAF is like the Greeks intrested in aircontrollers in the plane.
Erez. Those “dumb” bombs were guided. A french engineer had placed transmitters. Anyway. Using F16 for that role was not a bad idea. If countering anything then the F16 would have done the job. A dedicated bomber may have done the job “better” but the way back was not easy.
I agree with you Erez. Transforming the F16 (light agile multirole airsuperiority jet) into heavier bomber is not the best idea. Compensating more weight by adding a more powerful engine is just a compenstaion.
Why US navy? Isn’t the Pentagon, Ratheon or the US government first in line? The navy is just a customer like Denmark.
Correct. PIA testing Saab2000 at the same time they tested ATR 42 and Dash 8. But if that plane is in Pakistan and the buy is together with PAF then PAF had it tested at the same time. I doubt they just went there for only PIA. Anyway anjoy some more pics at http://www.pakistaniaviation.com
the pylon looks fake and I miss the vertical fins under the tail… Most of the times they add those just to correct the impact of the dish on the rudder…
