It is ironic. First they design a plane. Then they cut cost. Then they go back to the original idea. But just skip to connect it. Can we expect for the JSF same irony as with the Phanom? First skip canon. Then find it handy and make add-on pod?

Now here’s an interesting one. This looks like another angle of the photo I had at the beginning of this thread. I was interested in the LDII navigation pod then, totally ignoring the MRAAM which I had assumed was the PL-11.

But now we seen from this angle, we see the PL-10C lettering!

If this is not PSed, then it would be a major, major piece of info even if it were a mockup. People are not even sure the PL-10 ever existed!

This would be the first picture of a PL-10 from Chinese sources that I could think of (not western publications labelling the Aspide as the PL-10.)

To find it here as a “C” version, indicating continuous development of the type, is even more amazing!

GD. Just looking at the surface structure of the missile I can tell it is a dummy. Just look at smoe detail pics of AMRAAM or AIM9x… All bolted together. Not smooth with a few stripes. Maybe from a distance but not from this close.

Could be. But they replaced those ifr probes forward? It is not the same location as the previous ones…

Being late is standard in high technology planes. There is nothing wrong with upgrading while in service. I remember that the IDF variant of the Tornado had no radar at all and flew with lead in the nose cone. The Gripen is still flying without tvc and some improvements are implemented one by one. Same did happen with many other planes.

I don’t see any PAK FA entering any service soon. And I think that EF2000 has its potential if you look at the adversaries. Would everyone invest that much extra to get stealth advantage on a bigger scale?

I think that the US needed some way a sign to put more effort in the F22. I doubt the are as high skilled as US. And the rest of the conclusions are based on nothing.

There was a report about two Hawkeys delivered by Israel to Mexico in the last AFM magazine. Looking at the fact that the planes were in a museum and had enough delay during delivery flight… I doubt that they will have perfect operational service.

Anyway. There are rumours about J10 with french avionics next to the JF17. Surely those j10b pictures do look nice.

About taking figures. I think we know the intention of some posters in Pakistani topics. Whatever. the focus of this plane better then that one. This chopper better then that one. This tank better then that one. This force better then that one. Sentiment.

IT is just blowing up a smaller pic… And I think the plane made medium level turn and the pic was zoomed…

And the speed is also a result of which fuel you use. Sofar I know the Al Khalid uses kerosene, petrol and diesel… This comparisation errors are the result of not enough knowledge.

Indian… Did you dee the depth of the battle arena between Pakistan and India? You do remember chai in Lahore? I doubt that you need the same mobility as US needed in Irac. You are allways talking about serious read but somehow I do not enjoy your humour.

About the Pakistani and Indian tanks. If there is a dessert. And not very stable ground. You go for a better protected, heavier and slower tank?

There are some major developments for linking the tanks together. Pakistani firms are almost finishing a prototype for Al Khaled. Add to that that Pakistan is building UAV support and within a year a fulltime satt support… I doubt this huge transformation is not effective.
