I have to agree. The websites are terrible. About the info crobato. I hoped you would provide something more. So they are busy with making the rotating parts smaller… They are intrested in more range….

The only PAF f16 that was shot down was by another PAF f16. The plane crossed a aim9 flightpath during actual a2a combat with the Russians over Pakistani territory.

Well, it is rather obvious the 412 was ordered because it is a followon to the UH-1 (and the 212.) It is a type that Pakistan is used to, is operating in large numbers and have experience maintaining.

It was due to the fact that the 412 was offered as a lease and directly available. The other choppers are not cancelled and will be overhauled before they will be delivered. That will take some (or better said a lot of) time..

Thanks Harry, I did visit the site and the name of the pic is : RADPAK22.jpg

So it is made for Pakistan. Fiar delivered or has offered for F7P, PG, Mirages, F16A/B and Fc1. This pic is not F7 because that plane has not two side intakes. The red intakes are similar to the covers early shown on F17 (or Fc1 or JF17 or S7….). But the Aden cannons are definately showing that it is a Dassault product. Anyway. Thanks.

PAF no longer flys the F-6 and the Mirages have been heavily upgraded, but your right, other then F-16s and F-7PGs, no real upgrade in equipment

Upgraded mirages have no bvr (showed yet). And F16’s are probably outdated and even with upgrade non bvr. At the same time the US planes have come pretty far. With IRST and better radars the advantages are gone…

We would react even more happy if a mil 17 was decorated the same way. The reaction is based on the interior and not Druv parameters. I don’t think it has huge impact if Israel MIGHT buy a few cause of the financial advantages. The Druv is a nice chopper. Mayeb not good enough for hot and high but it is based on Eurocopter model and a major improvement compared to Bell-212 and Bell-206. Anyway. If it is a deal then the Indians have achieved something admirable. A good start.

For the person that starts comparing it with selling someting to African nations… Poor fellow. Cheap and low. Must read the rules for posting.

Very intresting results in the past. But clearly showed that PAF had even at that time clearly less quality equipment. It showed at the same time that smart pilots make lot of impact. With some decades of development the others forces have gained a lot of quality improvement. PAF is still flying those airplanes. So the results will be not that good. Very intresting article. Fun to read.

Su-30 MKI makes emergency landing, Idiots put a Mig-29 pic.

If the press starts calling a mig29 (picture) a suckhoi… We should wonder how much we should trust in the press in the whole asian region. Is is allways about state of the art or something superb.

The French are probably not very happy with it. First they talked about 125 m2k-5 and now the contract is open. I hope it will not like the hawk deal. Oeps. It is looking like that. Anyway. It is a big buy so no wonder they need to take some time. Or was it just to divert the french from delivering to PAF..

PLA – You are Pakistani, why are you pretending to talk on the behalf of Chinese.

Nothing negative in that post, all factual and provides a reality check. Some very real and very different challenges before each contries like India and China move centerstage. And I have no doubts that that will happen in the next two decades….

You as a Pakistani, if it still exists as a country then, will still be cheerleading from the sidelines. 😀

It does bother you where I come from… Good. 1-0.
    Becoming personal. 2-0.
    Empty post. 3-0.

can we return to the main topic? Or is your intention just to ruin a topic about Pakistan?

Airpower: Your posting is purely based on throwing negative remarks towards China and keep telling that your nations is so good but is humble. BS. We do not see million chinese here voting for their tank being the best in the world. Or that J10 or Fc1 is better or equal to Gripen. Go read some papers and read how often they adore nri (non resident indians) have reached something special in western worlds. I do not hear chinese people. So before you start typing think again. Your windowdressing is purely India loving. We have seen enough posts showing that. Get back to the topic or leave.

Fact is that there’s no evidence beyond internet based rumor mongering, speculation and wishful thinking. From what I noted, there has’nt been such a deal and correct me if I’m wrong, since there has not really been any real evidence of the same, it should’nt raise anyone’s eyebrows on the claim. If it were “secret”, no point in bringing it up in an open forum, is there, given that the intention itself, would be contradicting the purpose to deny the existance of the same in the first place.

On the other hand, there is certainly something low profile, designated H-4, but that has nothing to with Denel or Kentron and is an ASM from what I gathered.

it was about our mod harry… Rumours… Speculation… Wishful thinking… no evidence… Not about H4…

The Maldives have large Indian population.

Indians are the largest expatriate community in the Maldives with a total strength of approximately 13000, followed by Sri Lanka 8000 and Bangladesh 5500. The Indian expatriate community consists of doctors, nurses and technicians, teachers, labourers, tailors, etc. spread over the islands.

The Maldives-India Friendship Association (MIFA) was formed in August, 1994 in Male’. MIFA has organised occasionally India evenings, cultural events and seminars under the patronage of the High Commission of India, Male’. The India Club was also revived in 1997 under the auspices of the High Commission of India. The Club regularly organizes Indian community functions every year in October/November featuring Indian cultural shows.

    >>>India and Maldives have enjoyed close and friendly relations since Maldives became independent in 1965. Disputes between the two countries have been few, and both sides amicably settled their maritime boundary in 1976. In November 1988, at the behest of the Maldivian government, Indian paratroopers and naval forces crushed a coup attempt by mercenaries. India’s action, viewed by some critics as an indication of Indian ambitions to be a regional police officer, were regarded by the United States, the Soviet Union, Britain, Nepal, and Bangladesh as legitimate assistance to a friendly government and in keeping with India’s strategic role in South Asia. In the 1980s and 1990s, Indian and Maldivian leaders maintained regular consultations at the highest levels. New Delhi also has provided developmental assistance to Male (Maldives’ capital) and has participated in bilateral cooperation programs in infrastructure development, health and welfare, civil aviation, telecommunications, and labor resources development.

    >>>According to PLA’s “logic,” aliens do exist because no one can prove that they don’t. Oh, well, I guess SETI can wrap up and all my computer’s “hard work” in processing SETI info has been to naught Thanks PLA for opening my eyes.

Not “do exist” but “may exist”… Or do you like the logic… As long as I have not seen a real picture then it is fake? Well… Tell that to those religious people… 😀 You guys are making a joke…
