Bumping this back up, anybody up for a bar crawl, and spotting round CDG on Saturday 18th? Always do a late night on the Sat as its a big fedex night from 2100. Need volunteers to celebrate 20 years of me going to Paris!

Or you can try the good old 152 bus from the CDG bus station, stops at the show entrance, runs every 30min. LBG station is nowhere near the field so you will need a shuttle bus.

One SAS related question is do, for instance the SE- reg aircraft only operate Swedish routes? Or do the fleets operate in a random way?

Sadly it looks like it may be a 9L arrival 😡 . The 9Q- 727 is still in too.
Also heard news that Jet Airways are to spart daily LHR A340
services from 23/4, arriving around 1800. Think they are leased from SAA?

Firt ever flight was in a Cessna 206 from Blackbushe in 1977. First commercial flight 1990 Virgin 747-200 LGW-MIA connecting to a Pan Am 727 to Orlando.
    Aaahh 727’s, also flew LAX-SFO, and SFO-SEA on United 727’s 😀 .

Takes me back, easy to forget Iberia(and Viva) had 737’s! I remember a time when many of the Iberia fleet were operating with regs like EC-215 etc, was never sure why they had those temp regs? Love the 72’s too. Amazing thet the IB,LH and AZ schemes are almost the same now(except LH a little bit).

Thanks for that sounds like the familiar government/ service indecision and blundering.

Whats the history of the Seamew and why did it never really enter large scale service? I assume it was an Avenger replacement? Did the Gannet kill it off, or was that a few years later?
