    RE: What are your plans?

I shall be on the last day of my holiday in Belgium, I fly home on the 12th with VLM. Last year when the event happened I was also on holiday in Belgium and flew home on the 13th, it was horrid in Brussels airport with all the US and Canada flights cancelled.

    RE: Example of Refugee-problem

Here is another example of a “refugee problem”. An old people’s home in Ashford, Kent is closed down and all the old people have to find somewhere else to live. Then it is reopened as a home for “asylum seekers”. A couple of days ago a gang of these “asylum seekers” fought a running battle with guns in a residential area. Are these the kind of scum we should be throwing away taxpayers money on?
Geforce – I should like to know where this asylum dump is or was, I hope it’s nowhere near any areas of your country I shall be visiting.[http://www.groups.yahoo.com/group/sabenabelgianairlines]

Geforce – the only people who have to wait for NHS treatment in the UK are British citizens. When all the Kosovoans were immported the other year, they didn’t have to wait for treatment, wards were opened and extra staff laid on to treat them, but there had never been money available before. I once remember you said about watching the BBC news, did you see last night about asylum seekers having private health care and their own doctors and nurses in areas where locals have to wait weeks or months for treatment?? I am not far right at all, but unless something is done to redress the balance and preferentialtreatment for asylum seekers is stopped, then the far right will gain support, and that should never be allowed to happen.

Have you ever been to the Grand Place in Brussels??? Then you will have seen all those poor asylum seekers begging, pestering and generally being bloody thundering nuisances. The same goes for the market in Antwerp, you can’t escape the bloody pests, even going into a restaurant is no guarantee you will not be hassled. They also infest Brussels Centraal station. I have experience with bloody asylum seekers. My Mum almost got robbed by one, so don’t go on about how poor and hard done to they are, take your blinkers off my Belgian friend!!!!!!!!!! (Snaky, you talk hell of alot of sense mate)[http://www.groups.yahoo.com/group/sabenabelgianairlines]

    RE: Australia’s refugee problem

WELL SAID SNAKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Gran was ill a few years ago with stomach pains, she had to wait nine months before she was referred to a specialist, yet we hear of asylum scroungers being found hospital beds right away whilst people who have been waiting for months die on waiting lists (my Gran died before her problem was diagnosed as she had waited so long for treatment), if she had come out of the back of a lorry she would have been treated right away. Refugees should not be given preferential treatment ( and no, I am not a racist), they should wait like we have to.
Also, why is it fashionable to condemn some countries like South Africa, ban all sporting links etc, but other countries who have treated their natives badly are ignored. I read that Aborigine children used to be removed from their parents and that the Aborigines had only relatively recently been granted Australian citizenship, they were in Australia first and they should have been left alone.

    RE: SN Brussels Airlines …

Only Africa and Europe Mongu, the US routes were taken on by VG Airlines. Sabena also used to code share with AA, so nothing is new there.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 22-07-02 AT 01:29 PM (GMT)]However “refugees” are treated in Australia, you can bet your bottom dollar that they’re treated better than the native Aborigines have been.

    Back to the Vikings

I would want to go back to the Viking Age in Iceland, I read so many of the Sagas and old Icelandic poems, and visited the country several times on holiday, I would like to see it before all the towns were built and it really was almost unspoilt with only small farms. It truly is a superb country but is now more commercialised with more bars and nightclubs than I remember from when I used to go.[http://www.groups.yahoo.com/group/sabenabelgianairlines]
