But this was reported elsewhere too..and Shiv Aroor is bombastic and generally very favourable of imports. He generally paints a rosier picture than reality.

Most likely not.. I can’t tell how far they have advanced in exploring the envelope limits but it doesn’t look too agile, thus far. But it’s otherwise a graceful aircraft which has the word speed engraved deep into its skin.

so then its not a very likely WVR threat due to possible F-35 maneuverability issues. At BVR ranges, the F-35 may not be at a disadvantage against it.

hi there Y-20 Bacon, we are actually discussing basic maneuverability i.e. wvr, gun fight.

However, to humor you here, J-7Gs do have HOBS capability and can use the SD-10, albeit not to its max range (usable only up to about 40-50 km).

I’m still waiting for you to prove that the J-7G can fire the SD-10..

Funny thing, in 2008 or so, you were talking about how the J-7 SHOULD BE able to fire the SD-10..8 years later has that been done or are you just making up facts now?
