I couldn’t have put it better dave, the vampire is simply beautiful and luckily quite a few are indoors but there’s some still outside braving the elements, quite a number at ATC squadrons and im trying to push to get them undercover.

Luckily the t.11 isnt a “rare” type and there’s many preserved in museums and in cockpit form, sadly there’s hardly any in airworthy condition with possibly 507 being the only one.

Anyways long live 507 in the UK skies, sadly the day will come when she cant fly so lets keep her going for as long as we possibly can…..so come support us at air shows and the open day

Just to let you know theres 3/4 page spread in the “other” aviation monthly this month about 507 so if your in town take a look, its a good, well written article.

And dont forget there 2weeks to go till the open day, its free but we do ask for a small donation to go towards 507 for the comming display season. This is a good time to start the ball rolling for the ’09 season.
