Yup I went to farnborough specifically to see the vulcan fly , I dont see whats so odd about wanting to see one type that you havnt seen before , makes perfect sense to me , I aslo made the trip to farnborough on a different day specifically to see the F22 fly , anything else in the air those days were an added bonus.

Today has been a lovely day.
I was at a vans fly-in at north weald and come back sun burnt.

Spent 6hrs cooking. Great day had by all by the sounds of it.

Tho tomorrows looking abit rough

I sometimes wonder about you, I really do. You’re not really interested in aviation that much at all are you? Look at your track record.

Weston Zoyland. A project you withdrew from for the simple reason it would involve a bit of work.

Various cockpit projects. None of which you have ever had any intention to purchase.

An instrument panel for the ATC. Which you wanted donated free of charge. Not forgetting a fuselage for the same or aircraft recognition drawings and plans.

Your problem is that you have too much enthusiasm, no common sense and a total inability to appreciate that, just sometimes, you have to put a little effort into things yourself.

I really can’t understand an enthusiast who wouldn’t go to an airshow because a single type wasn’t there. Does your comment about seeing all the other aircraft before mean you will never go to another show unless there is something you have not seen before?

I take that as an offence. Ive lost so much for aviation.
Ive draged people round airshows and this that and the other. My parents are sick of it.

Ive done 9 months work with hangar 11 and many other people with a/c, ive got cadets into avaition, air rec, ive arraged visits trips and events for them and soo much more. Im doing bits with the local museum

Ive had a few cockpit offers and im waiting for final emails.

Ive got dozens of models, pictures, instruments.

You dont know me so dont tell me what im like. Ask the people who i socialise with and work with and send pms to.

Now get that massive chip of your shoulder mate! No wonder merkle gave up your doing no one any good and making it hardr for the rest of us.

Ive sent out CV’s for apprentaships, and to get a grant to go to uni to study a/c enginerring.

I really am findiing it hard to understand what you bring to the aviation world. Cos from where im standing ive done alot more than you and im 16!

Now go and find someone else to dig at. Thats all you seem to do is cause trouble.

After reading the canadian heritage flight thread is it time for the UK to follow in the us and canads footsteps and do something similar.

We have an airworthy lanc, vulcan, various spits and hurri’s and some pre war beauties at shuttleworth and a number of hunters and gnats e.t.c.

So should the RAF or a civilan group set something up.

I dont think you could have all the aircraft based at one location but when a display is requested they could form up for the display then return to there home bases.
