I believe the top one is how she is painted at the moment.

Taifun i’m not a historical expert on old schemes but I do think that she looks wonderful the way she is. That said if she needs new paint it may as well be different new paint.

It has no dignity, it is an inanimate piece of metal not a person!!

Colour shmulour I’d rather see it in the air than on the ground.

Would that be the brushed or sprayed blue you’re talking about…?

    Or Possibly Brobat Bloo 😀

Albert, the picture is being viewed on your uncalibrated (I assume) monitor having been downloaded and processed using Damien’s (presumably calibrated) monitor, even if your is calibrated then it may not be exactly the same. I humbly suggest that you see it in person before commenting on exact shades of blue. Heaven forbit you may even have a TFT!!!!

You are only down the road, pop over and have a look I can recommend the coffee in AV8 🙂

To (mis)quote the speaker of the House of commons “the eyes have it” (except in Robbos case of course).

Evenin’ Rover hope your keeping well.

I see the Chief Engineer has a new set of overalls.

It is really good to see the Comet out and about again, I guess we will have to wait until the runway to be finished to see her stretch her legs.

Who was in the drivers seat?

    I find A14 / M6 / M42 / M5 is easier and quicker

Well I didnt like to go that far. anyway lord knows what route the Sat nav in my car would take me. Its good for pace notes and getting home when you are really lost.

Would anyone care to hazard a guess as to the cost of commissioning and testing a batch of turbine blades for 2 flightworthy engines and however many spare Jumos?

That’ll be why MS are tightening up on Software piracy then 😀

It was the Breighton one, the serial began with a T whereas HP’s at the moment starts with a V.
