    “MOOSE” of the Fighter Collection i’m sure was used in the film and flown by the late Hoof Proudfoot. I know Rob Lamploughs Miss Hellen was going to be used in the film but was dropped at the last min but at least it got her back in the air quicker.

    Must have been the same one that made a stonking pass over Southend Airport this afternoon very nice roll, she headed off in the direction of the sea front.

    Hi Old Fart, He came to us from the east so he must of came up the river to us, I spoke to him just after he landed he did not see the 30 Taliban in our parade ground !

    Been at the fort all day filming, they turned the place into Afganistan for a new Docu drama coming out in Aug 07, and would you belive it Mr Teichman and his Spitfire came and circled the fort !

    Slightly off track, but what happened to the B-26 rear end that was found in the woods at Earls Colne and was displayed at the now defunct Rebel Air Museum.

    I think it is still on the airfield, one of the only parts that was kept.

    ahhhhhh haaaaaaa, now it all makes sense, we wondered about protection of the feed chute but its size did not seem to cover the area. we were quite sure it was part of the cheek gun area.

    I think now we will get someone confirm.
