The accident report states the aircraft was recovered…..anybody know what happened to it?

Lewis Hamilton will remain F1 World Champion 2008…..and deservedly so!

Any suggestion that Timo Glock ‘let him by’ is academic as Hamilton cannot be penalised unless it can be proved there was some sort of conspiracy between the teams (or drivers)…..and I’m sure there wasn’t.

As you say Glock stayed on dry tyres and lost a lot of ground in the closing laps to Hamilton and the other drivers who changed to intermediate tyres.

I think the feelings of the Brazilian are understandable but no, not very sportsmanlike.

I did spend some time looking at photographs of the nacelles of Ju88 but couldn’t find that ‘inlet / vent’ (or that ‘exhaust pipe’) on any of them. I did think possibly Ju188 / Ju388 but had no luck there either.

But at least we know it is German.

Supporting your Italian suggestion I thought possibly Macchi C.205 (with the intake filter missing)…

…but the bits don’t seem to be in exactly the right place.

Of course I read the original article, I read all the quotes too, but only found one quote so offensive that it prompted me to make my original post. In a later post I also said…

I don’t really know (or care) who Richard Dawkins is or what he believes in (or not).

I didn’t look up the Methodist Church, the British Humanist Association or Christian Voice either as their quotes seemed to spell out their position (and at the time it was late).

I was prompted to look up Humanism however after your ‘religion for the un-religious’ post as I must admit I didn’t know what the full Humanist stance was and have a theory that people need ‘religion’ to a certain extent.

Re-reading the original article I also found the other quote by Stephen Green (of Christian Voice) amusing:

“I should be surprised if a quasi-religious advertising campaign like this did not attract graffiti.”
