Not wishing to steal someones photo!, hows about a link Ruskin Air Services
Wouldn’t mind seeing it again, PM me mate.
I remember the plans about a Connie, Yorkshire TV cancelled the second series though!
I have been looking for more info and G-DAKS was operated as G-AGHY, the second DAK was G-BHUB which was used as G-AGIV briefly before crashing in the series.
Memories!……………
This series called ‘Airline’, was it the one with the fictitional Ruskin Air services that flew Dakotas and was based after WWII ?
Chicken bu**ery aside……….
working 8000 miles away from home over the last few months, and missing the bulk of the aviation season, I regularly use KEY and UKAR, the more the better (merrier?) I say.
There it was gone!
Some awesome pictures there, Sunday was by far the better choice of days. I especially like both the Tonka shots
Forget the correct spelling, it’s just nice to see ‘655 looking so good.
Who the hell is Billy Fiske ?
I thought the film was about Billy Whizz, he of The Beano comic fame. :p
You must be thinking of Billy Elliot
VC10 or Nimrod?
This sounds remarkably like a Nimrod/Tornado flypast that took place over Westminster Abbey at 1255 today (16th), something to do with Coastal Command!
