Rob,
If you don’t mind I would just like to make the following points.
I’ve had a look at the EXIF data of these pictures and although you have the right idea in terms of using your camera in Aperture priority mode, but because of the weather the shutter speed was just too slow. In these circumstances I wouldnβt personally shoot aviation. With these aircraft moving at great speed, a shutter speed of 1/60 just isnβt going to capture a sharp shot.
You’ve got the right idea and the camera in the right mode, shooting at ISO 100, all you need is just to wait for some sunshine so that shutter speed is faster. When that happens i anticipate your shots will greatly improve.
Next learning point is photoshop π
On another note, when you photograph at Bristol from the southside do you shoot over the fence or through it?
Adam
Axell some great pictures there, well done.
May I add that I was in Zurich on the 7th and the weather was less than good π
Good work
Adam
Nagaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
Great shots mate as always! I must admit that BMI baby close up is a beauty! Must have been taken with a great piece of kit…. Oh wait again, it was on my camera π
Was a great day mate (apart from the cold feet)

“Capacity on the Glasgow route will be doubled to allow for day return traffic, providing a significantly cheaper option for passengers than the high fares charged by Flybe from neighbouring Southampton “
FlyBe fly to Glasgow
Ryanair fly to Prestwick
Its nice to see Ryanair haven’t lost their misleading touch π
Adam
Thanks everyone.
I am hoping to get down to Myrtle Avenue before I fly out on Saturday.
Fingers crossed for westerly winds

It’s only R32 that has CAT IIIa. R14 is CAT I which isn’t autoland at all. The 75’s operate to CAT I minima on both 14 and 32 at LBA. Noob!
Paul
LOL! You two are funny!
Either way a good read! Thank you for sharing
Adam
Exactly what I was looking for π
Many Thanks Lance
Does anyone know which MYT/TCX aircraft is currently BHX based and which type will be operating my SKI charter to Sofia.
A320 G-CRPH at the moment, wearing full TCX scheme.
G-CRPH has spent the past weekend at Bristol and so it just proves what other users have said in that aircraft are frequently moved around from A-B.
You’ve already written in your signature ‘A320’ so you must have good reason to believe that is the aircraft type.
Just wait and see – All part of the excitement
Adam
Have a great christmas and think of me at work when your opening all of your presents! :p
Youβre working Christmas day are you? Poor Chap!
what was the bmi baby doin in bristol?
Hi Rob,

Actually, here she is!
And here she is again :p
Ahh, CS-TTK. Mr Spalding and myself bumped into her at FNC the other week!
Nice work as usual, Si. My favourite has to be ‘the odd ball’, I think!
Paul
Did we? Then again I wouldn’t have known CS-TTK from CS-TTJ as I was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage or 5! π
