    love the spanair a320

I have to agree Si, the Spanair stands out to be as the most well composed & the sharpest shot.
    Nice work.

Do they each get a seat?

WOW and i thought Ryanair were the kings of squeezing as many seats into a B737 as possible πŸ™‚

Funchal certainly was a good laugh and the weather was very kind to us. Even out of season this airport certainly is unique.
All fantastic pictures mate, and going slightly off of aviation, your images from Funchal town are simply in a class of their own – I would advise everyone to get onto Paul’s FLICKR account and have a look at them.
Thank you once again for a fantastic trip.

Hi How do you get the photos to display without being thumbnails ?

Check your original post ‘LHR 4th Nov’ – PMN gave you a pretty good explanation of what to do. πŸ™‚

I *think in the UK you are allowed to operate for 10m at thrust-settings over MCT, and 5m if you are in the US. Anything past that, the EGT would severely damage the turbine section.

MCT???? Is that Maximum Climb Thrust (That’s a guess)

Considering the ages of these two talented young men, I am very impressed.

Just out of interest what is ‘Darkside Aviation” or rather where did the name come from?

You’re so damned picky at times! πŸ˜€

Sometimes we forget that this individual is part of ‘JET BLAST IMAGES’ – Therefore his criticism should never be doubted πŸ˜€

Fingers crossed. It is because of the likes of EZY & FR that travel for the leisure individuals has become a more realistic and affordable. It is because of these two carries that Bristol airport has developed and continues to grow at the rate that it does. Am i right in thinking EZY had 12 based A319’s over the summer? Not bad for a regional airport! (Which is now EZY’s biggest base outside of London)

I also can’t understand hostility to RYR…….they’ve enabled me to do more spotting cheapies abroad than I ever dreamt of………bring on a BRS schedule to equal STN.

Agree with you on the FR front. I’ve flown many flights with them (not just from BRS) and have never once had an issue. FR get me from A-B and that is exactly what I pay for.

So development out of BRS? Where too next then? There was talk a few months back that they were trying to push for a Middle East route. Emirates & Dubai? Perhaps unlikely.
