Why still limit the payload of Tu-22M to 12x250kg bombs or 6x500kg bombs since they are now flying from Iran?

Meaning giving even more modern weapons to terrorist groups than so far? So they are giving up on Syria altogether, but they just wanna make even bigger chaos in the region, and make it harder for Russia.

Just few days ago many of us were thinking why four SU-30s and not more 34s or whatever. Myself included.

Now i’m thinking if Russia wants to make another tough stand, then send another 4-6 SU-30s or even 27SM2s. That would send a strong message they are serious there.

Can someone clarify M vs M2.
According to Wikipedia M is old upgrade from eighties, and M2 being from year 2000. Its been 15 years since M2 upgrade rolled out.

Why would these not be M2 i’m curious? Can you easily tell them apart?
