Easy come. Easy go. Jihadists fired Grads at that base. Sooner or later that airport is going to be razed to the ground.

It only shows how limited their capability is and limited number of Grads that they have. This is their only chance to hit the base. Now or never. So they fired two or three hitting the fields. Russians are going to level anything within the range starting NOW>

Don’t forget, Russians don’t have to worry about choosing who to fire at towards the east. They can level anything that moves on 4 wheels.

Every USA built humvee, every single car, bus, or truck will be bombed, unlike in USA and coalition case. That makes a big difference.

Well, Russians are going to bomb everyone aside from Kurds and Assad’s forces helping them regain momentum and territory.

USA and coalition is going to continue spending billions of $$ on bombing ISIS while they keep loosing key towns and territory to the same group. It must be real high moral in US Airforce after 12 months of most powerful airforce in the world actively bombing while not making any apparent effect. But, job is a job, so they go and do what they do.

Turkey is going to continue bombing Kurds and when they **** off international community bit too much, they’ll drop few bombs on ISIL positions as well to look better on news pages.

Assad’s butt is safe now as long as Hellducks are there.

So basically USA is super pissed more than ever, loosing territory in Afghanistan, Syria, and Iraq. Not only that their strategy didn’t work so far while costing billions in the last 1 year alone, but Turkey is bombing Kurds they are supporting in exchange for use of their airbases. And now Russians are moving their rooks and bishops to bomb who ever the heck they want.

Russian presence there now weakens USA influence in this region drastically. That fact everyone understands in the world.

I think that West should be smart enough to realize by now that Iran is the only stable not radical LARGE country in the region. Yes they have many laws to fix and update but in my opinion they are on a decent path to do so in comparison to all their neighbors! Women have way more civil rights there than in UAE.

That being said, you cannot just go ahead and preemptively bomb the hell out of the LARGE country like that and hope the WORLD will like it because Iran wants to get defensive weapons.

They are not actually threatening anyone in the region, nor do they historically have interest to invade anyone now. Other than retaliation in case of an attack. Correct me if I’m wrong please.

But please don’t give me those twisted quotes ranging from “Israel should not exist” aka should be whiped out. All that is as good as Mr Trump saying USA can’t have any more of Mexicans coming into the USA because they are rapists. BS that only helps west media.

If anything, they are investing their own BUTTS to fight ISIL on the ground.

Honestly, I doubt that in any case Su-30s will change anything in the next few years, unless they go all out with structure and numbers like China did. They cannot even begin that even with all the sanctions lifted. For the next few years it might be few S300s and six SU-30 if they get lucky. Yeah, a real game changer.

Their best protection is all i wrote above and the world will not accept preemptive attack on such large sovereign country after Mr Bush’s Iraq.

This thread started almost innocently, but is about to explode and take over. The Last time I remember something like this happened on this forum was when first PAK-FA T-50 took off !!!

My opinion is that this is quite a chess move by Russia perfectly timed. Even though they cant possibly afford military deployment and intervention on foreign soil ala USA.

Tactically, all the pieces are falling into their favor now.

Last time I can remember Netanyahu came running to Russia so quickly was when They signed a deal with Iran for S300. That means serious business. Thats even beyond what USA can say for sure what went on behind those doors 🙂

Russia is going to gain a lot with this military deployment. If they don’t miscalculate in the long run!

They don’t even need to fly a single bombing mission for a long while in my opinion. Just the deployment and presence and its potential is a MAJOR CHESS MOVE!
Now everyone wants to talk to them and deal new cards 🙂

Not to mention diverting pressure from conflict in Ukraine.

Assad is now safe for some time from everyone! That’s another fact!. Turkey, USA, and many others on the ground there are not happy.

I’m personally just happy to see Russian hardware hopefully beating down on ISIL.

Serbian media are reporting, via Israeli news outlet Ynet, that Russian troops and aircraft have begun arriving in Syria to begin Russia’s intervention against ISIS. Still too early to tell if this is bogus news but I thought I’d post it anyway.

I saw it too, but its just Serbian news reporting from Israeli “Yedioth Ahronoth” article that has little to do with reality. Just shows how little twists in reality, and a false title can create false Breaking NEWS story.
It even states in it that Syria has received 6 Mig-31s which are at the Damasks airbase to support government’s fight against ISIS :-))

I don’t understand why they do this. So many people read this crap today and are even arguing about this false news report on bunch of places.
