Silly huh? So George Bush and his cronies weren’t neocons, and their christian beliefs had nothing to do with thier adventures abroad?

I don’t believe in conspiracy theories. George Bush said he talked to god, so did Blair.
As I said ‘It’s not a big step from there.’
I’m not slagging americans in general, but when some of their ultra conservative christian politicians profess to believe in the apocolypse, it’s not a big step from there to thinking they’re doing gods work in trying to bring it about.

One day we will all find out if its all fact or fiction.Personally id like to air on the belief side.Don’t want to look silly explaining my self to him/her.

I’m fairly confident I don’t have free will. I suspect I’m driven by unconcious urges, peer pressure, my upbringing or the happenstance of my education and choice of reading and friends. I have individual will, but I think that’s mostly governed by the above.
I’d need a definition of what free will actually is, before I commit to saying whether I have it or not.

The grass always seems greener, but appearances can be deceptive!;)
I thought the saying was ‘In amsterdam the grass always seems stronger’
In which case appearances are usually hallucinations.

Fair enough point. One doesn’t have to be a christian to be a kiddyfiddler. I might poke fun at belief, but I wouldn’t tar all christians with the paedophile brush.
By the way, I’m sinister too.
