This is not an example of Commercial Aviation but the concept has been around for some time (passengers in the wings). It does, however, prove that an aircraft does not need a an ‘Empennage’ (tail feathers) to fly, and fly with pitch stability without computer aids.

    Enjoy

Interesting to note that XS419, clean, needed airbrakes to stay in formation, whereas 457, with Red Top, didn’t.

I’d bet that both aircraft were opening and closing them as rapid as my wife’s mouth 😀

Can’t help you with your request but I saw the MK19 lead the Red Arrows in a high speed fly pass many years ago. Well, it was high speed for the Spit anyway. Looked and sounded great. And where was my camera? Yeh, still asking myself that question.

Can’t help you Mark but if you do go, please let us know what the pyramid is just up the road from the museum. Google Earth shows it quite clearly.

In my books, anything that can get rid of phone towers is worth more than it’s weight in gold. The possibilities of this technology is mind blowing. I wish him and his team every success.

I’m pretty sure that that pool is at The Britannia Club in the city, not Seletar.

Even after residing in Australia for 35 years, I still miss England’s glorious country-side…………….when it’s green.

I think the Mods and the majority on the forum can spot a troll a mile away, but I honestly believe in the freedom of communication on this way, ie the tinternet.
GreyArea. I know from experience, you put somewon away in prison, say an 18yrs old, for habitual shoplifting, and when he comes out, he will be a fully paid up member of the House burglary club, car stealers, and all the other custodial offences, that he didn’t know about prior to his holiday inside.
I would prefer the good old “Cat O Nine Tails” to come back, but the Do Gooders wouldn’t have that, would they?.

Well said Linoln. Sometimes, one has to be cruel to be kind. ‘Tis the only way they learn.
