“The French reportedly have ferries with the capacity for 1,000 people, but are only taking French nationals, New York City architect Naji Moujaes told FOX News. Moujaes was on a business trip but brought along his wife and infant child.
“If your wife is a French national and your son, then they will take you,” Moujaes said. ”

BS.I know for sure that there is Bulgarian women and children on the board.

BBC said they were taking French and EU citizens.

When it comes to best TRAINED pilots, I’ll have to say Israeli. And not because I’m biased 😀
I think it’s Israeli pilot because they have a lot of flight hours (more than the USAF AFAIK) as well as combat experience.

One of the killed men was apparently the pilot of the ship’s helicopter.

You sure mate the footage is saw showed a camera at the border then looking up to the sky with and F4 fireing flares.

Unfortunately I am. All of Israel’s F-4 squadrons were closed, the last one two years ago. A few F-4s were left in operational storage, but they were put in Ovda AFB in the south, to be used only in case of a real emergency. So it’s unlikely at all that any of them was used in Lebanon both because it’s far away, and because there are other, operational planes that can do the same job, perhaps better.

i just saw footage on breakfast television of an F4 dropping an LGB over Beruit!

What you saw was probably an old 1982 footage, Israel doesn’t fly F-4s anymore.

Israel is using civilians as shield.

The same was as taliban is using them in afghanistan, but israel is using them in smart way they put them near bunkers and army unites .They just on wrong time on wrong place.

Almost all of the rockets fired from Lebanon to Israel in the last couple of days were aimed at civilian settlements, nowhere near military positions. Not that any firing at Israel is legitimate, but Hizballah knows exactly where the northern Israeli military bases are located and could have targeted just them, to at least avoid civilian casualties.

If after a number of dead Israeli civilians and dozens other injured you still can’t see that Hizballah is a terror organization whose goal is killing civilans, I don’t know if you ever will.

BTW, if you bothered to read more of my posts, especially with Erez, you would see that I can have a nice conversation with anyone regardless of race, nationality, religion or ethnic group..

Well, conversations are the best way of getting to know one another and the other’s positions, but what was mostly going on here until now, at least in the last two pages of the thread, was a dialog between deaf people.

The following sentances are strictly my personal opinion and are not intended to offence anyone.
Flex, although I do find our conversations interesting and enlightning, I still find you somewhat out of touch with reality. For example, I honestly still can’t understand how you don’t see any real danger with giving nuclear weapons to one of the worst regimes on the planet. I think it should be almost obvious that it’s very much like giving a gun to a mentally unstable person and letting him out on the street.

And as for the other side, and mostly my fellow Israelis, you’ll get no support or understanding by using personal attacks on your opposition. No one will take you seriously unless you take the time to read what you write, use some better grammer and yes, some manners too.
I find bob909’s accusation of Flex being antisemitic completely rediculous, and also harming Israel’s image. So you want to talk to people in the world, make them understand the Israeli side of the issue? Do it, by all means, do it! it’s exactly what we need. But unless you’ll be able to treat the listeners with the minimum amount of respect, all you do is being counterproductive to Israel.

You are not making the distinction between the 1 million Israeli Arabs, who are the citizens of Israel, and the Palestinians, who are not.

As for the number of refugess, the 4 million figure is the number of the current Palestinian refugees, not the number of Palestinian refugees who fled in 1948. Their number is growing because of the Arab League’s decision that no Palestinian will be granted citizenship in any of the Arab countries, so this number includes the original refugees’ descendants.
