    thanx for the pix, to think i used to spend every weekend there (well..on 8AEF territory) for two years and didnt even know this place existed!

    the p1121 is a fabulous aircraft (but not as good as the TSR2!!)

    more importantly:

    I WILL DO ANYTHING FOR A COPY OF THAT BARRY HYGATE BOOK. I MEAN ANYTHING.

    I borrowed it for a short while off of someone I no long am able to see and i think its a brilliant book

    let me repeat:

    I WILL DO ANYTHING FOR A COPY OF THAT BARRY HYGATE BOOK.

    any info on where i could find a copy is greatly received. I have tried historicbooks.com, amazon, ebay, abebooks, all those kinds of places to no avail.

    thankyou……

    IF there was a fuel leak near an engine, the crew would not have seen it, and there would be no cockpit warnings unless its like a huge gush causing a fuel pressure problem. There is the possibility that the fuel could ignite….whether on the ground or in the air.

    IF this is fuel overflow and some venting into the wing tip vent tank, then it should not be running over the wings surface, because the outlet is at the trailing edge.

    seems odd to me.

    perhaps the cabin crew did not take any action when informed by the pax

    perhaps the cabin crew could not be reached to be informed of the occurence.

    it doesnt take long for fear to spread among a contained human population, and its not an easy thing to quell a worked up bunch of people either…..

    I think its a very convincing fake, except for the fact that if you take the usual very short engine exhausts on german engines….the crank case would end about where the pilots head should be…

    no the build structure doesnt go 1-2-3-4 its a few odd numbers first and then the even numbers plus the ground airframes…..

    as can be expected I cannot go into what is going on around the office, suffice to say some new calcs are giving ‘interesting’ results.

    hmmm a 900 version….NOTHING has been said about the stretch that I have heard—-and I would take notice of that!

    well a 900 version could open up the capability for a 1000 seater aircraft…..severe distance penalty tho…..cant imagine that it’ll be setting any records. the upper weight limit is 600 Tons….thats it, thats the lot……….or else it’ll be VERY VERY VERY expensive mod.
