Good points JDK, I recall that several recovered wreck parts stored at Raf bases were later sent to scrap yards because the wreckage was regarded as scrap by uninformed RAf people who just wanted a tidy place. Eg RAF Henlow sent parts from Mickle Fell Stirling, Larkhill Tomahawk,Battle and internal fittings from Lanc S sugar to a scrapyard at Baldock.
There is an element of collectors fever in wreck recovery, a sort of pressure that if you dont act on a new find then someone one else will grab it. This I think is what has caused the rush and damage to many recoveries where locals have grabbed wrecks because of the potential value. Sadly that will not change even if the recovery is not officially cleared.
The Wellington wreckage was never proved to be the source of the ghost stories although the recovery was connected by many people to the mixed hauntings. After all no ghost ever came up and said”Could you recover our crashed Wellington ,its at this position……etc” Like many wrecks the Wellington was in a very marshy area and deemed outside salvage efforts during wartime. I can recall only small sections at St Athan including about six foot of wing, it was not a full recovery.
yes it was true, parts were displayed at the St Athan museum for a while.
No wonder that you cannot believe this thread because it is a good example of a troll. It was designed to provoke reaction and has.
Airline was good nostalgia for me because a lot was filmed at Blackpool Squires Gate where I first started to watch aircraft.During the time of Reflectaire some sequences of Family at War were filmed at night using the Lanc NX611 at Blackpool.
Its not as bad as it could be Papa Lima but thats only because of the work of Liberty. This group provides a solid base which fights to maintain civil liberties. Many of its members work in the legal world and dislike clumsy law making plus the misuse of laws.
I have seen public awareness of threats to civil rights increase in recent years and no Uk government will get away with attempts to change the law by strealthy trickery.
Correct Scouse, totally unworkable and will never happen.Could you imagine the numbers needed to police this ! Are THEY going to chase me across the sky!!! http://www.scotaviaimages.co.uk

Patb scripted thus…
So Commander Tom Scott (call sign “Panther”) places him on an exchange sabatical to a sleepy Royal Navy base in Yeovilton, Somerset, UK. Initially, his slick style and late nights conflict with the stiff upper lip culture of Royal Navy 800 Squadron, especially Naval Aviator “Sharkey” Ward.
..after a short while Panther suffers a complete breakdown and is sent to Netley because he just could not cope with the even later nights, continual beer calls, getting fined for being overboard on the grass areas, being rebuffed by the Wrens who have very high standards, discovering his new Fleet Air Arm
buddies were allowed to drink alcohol while at sea and the final straw being that his music player would not work in the Sea Harrier.

The Caravan is planned as an addition to the C206.
Caa says no to float Beaver
Sadly no Beaver on floats for this company due to certification problems. Instead it should be a Cessna Caravan.
If you buy new cheap from overseas you will often find no product support in the Uk regarding warranty you have to send it back to the overseas dealer. So if you can manage without your camera thats ok then.
the gamble is that the gear works ok for long enough to make the cheaper price worth it.
Guinot
The new scheme is a huge improvement over the last, crisp clear graphics and very uncluttered. Now I have seen the aircraft scheme I can hardly wait too see the flying suits.
