I think it has been influenced by the local air force being 100 years old this year,they did not have an airworthy Anson for events being held.

Please hold back from suggesting the RAF museum, they have storage packed with donations which will never be on public display. Far better donate or loan items to the many smaller museums.( unless it is an item for a specific restoration due to be put on display)

My time spent researching for AAA members threw up a challenge. Map refs given in wartime used a different grid for the UK. Is there anywhere on line where the uk maps with mil grid refs are available? I suppose the next step would be to find original maps.
