Maybe he will get parole after 120 years … 😀
So if you murder an American outside the US you can still be brought to justice in the US. You guys should really stop prosecuting crimes committed in countries outside the US.
It is indeed fake.
Next one, Fake or Real?? you decide (again)
I thought it was really, but if you look closely to where the front wheel supposed to be then you notice a small “bump” in the fuselage which I don’t think supposed to be there so I would say fake, but very nicely done one.
.
Unfortunately if you tell them not to do it, they will. May be we should encourage minors to have sex below the age of 16, just like their parents did. Then they would consider it to be un cool and wait until they are 16+
If only all problems could be handled that easily :D. I think that you should be very open to your children when it comes to sex, drugs and alcohol. You should point out the dangers of course. That said you can’t forbid them to do anything only educate them. Look at the difference in alcohol abuse in countries like the Netherlands and America. As I understand it in America teenagers drink a lot more then in Holland even though in Holland you can drink legally from 16, but you won’t be denied a drink if you are 15 or even 14. But you have to do it with some sense that’s all. I have a number of friends whom either did a year of high school in the US or studied there and they all said that Alcohol abuse is higher and even Drugs abuse. If you look at the statistics you will find that there is also a higher drug abuse in the US and the teenage pregnancies are also higher. Perhaps this is because it is kind of the forbidden fruit in a highly christianised society as the US. I don’t know….
Really, you aren’ t allowed by law to have sex as a minor? Strange country you live in. Ofcourse I didn’t mean that their parents should be send to jail. I meant that if the baby was born they should have the financial and social responsibility for this child. It is their grand child in that way. Parents can’t know everything the child does, but can be held accountable for it. But the first stap would be inform the parents and not let this child and someone from school decide on such matters. That is what went wrong here I think.
As for abortion, it is really easy, it is the choise of the mother and father to be and nobody else but them.
[i]Mother angry at secret abortion
Should the school have done what it did?
Should the school have involved the girls parents?
Should the law be applied to underaged fathers-to-be?
Should the childrens parents be held more responsible for the actions of their offspring?
Is this any concern of anyone else but those involved?Flood.â„¢
Question 1
For most the school is a secure place, so if the girl goes to someone within het school they should talk to her, but…………..
Question 2
……they should have insisted that the childs parents are informed since, for the least reason, they are responsible for a 14 y/o. But the main reason is, ofcourse, a child should be able to go to their parents to talk about these kind of problems.
Question 3
Perhaps the parents of the father should be made responsible, just like every parent is responsible for their child.
Question 4
Yes!
Question 5
No, not primairly.
Most difficult subject you have choosen Flood.
I doubt that these aliens are sending warships to earth, or else we would not be here right now, if these are in deed alien ships, probably science vessels or something, never underestimate the power of splitting an atom, that ship will at least crash, muhahaha
Look what we humans did when we entered a foreign land. Conquer at least and killing the entire population “at best”. So if they are here we are kind of okey at the moment 😎 .
I haven’t been involved in many non-aviation topics as of late, but this recent string of events in Iraq (i.e. the killing of Nick Berg as well as the Abu Ghraib prison scandal) causes me to ask a few questions because I’m curious about reactions from people in other countries.
My first question is what do you make of the Nick Berg murder, and do you think that it would never have happened if the prison scandal had never occurred?
Secondly, do you feel sorry for the prisoners involved in the prison scandal?
Finally, what’s your opinion of the apparent lack of coverage from Arab media, and the lack of condemnation by Arab leaders?
My two pennies……
Question 1
Yes, the real problem is not the prison scandal but the fact that the majority of the Iraqis, although thankful for removing mr. Hussein from office, aren’t exactly trilled having an American occupation there. The upraise is in response to that fact. Although the torture would indeed not have helped the situation. Especially considering that this particularly prison was also used by the former regime for the same purpose.
Question 2
I think that any human being should not be tortured. It is a basic human right. So I feel that the superiors should be brought to trail, hopefully for the international criminal court (which could happen since Iraq is part of this court even though USA is not), but also the soldiers should be brought to justice. They too have a responsibility, they can’t just say they were ordered to because you don’t have to obey wrongful orders like this. That is in general, as for the 90% wrongful detainees I feel especially sorry.
Question 3
Don’t know too much about it to have an informed opinion. But I you have to clarify what you mean by lack of coverage, I mean coverage of the war in general or this incident with an American citizen. If you mean the latter then the answer could be quite simple. If a Dutchman is killed somewhere in the world there would be media covering it’s story here in the Netherlands but not necessary in the country where it happened. So that could be an explanation. They also might feel that America is killing a lot of innocent bystanders and this American was also in the wrong place at the wrong time. I don’t know but just some thoughts about it. Furthermore the reason that this photos might have appeared is to divert attention from the scandal.
And indeed according to international law the American and British forces didn’t have the right to attack this country, but I don’t think that this is an issue any more.
Very nice, very clear and beautifull. Keep them comming!!! Please
So it was illegally occupied by Morocco but not by Spain just because there was no UN then? Oh go and cry it out with your ” I believe in International Law”. Your position is not going to change it and if we want to masacre them we will. you occupied Indonesia yourselfs illegally, but wait there was no UN so its okay…………
No it wasn’t! But the fact that we in our history did many things wrong, occupation of Surinam, Indonesia not even mentioning bringing people from Africa to America to be slaved that doesn’t mean that I condone if someone act in this way nowadays. It is wrong now as it was then.
I think Dutchy thinks I am the kind of Moroccan that he sees in his town. The ones that have nothing to do, cause trouble, calling people names. Well I am nothing like that. You don’t have the slightest ( spelling ) idea. I think that the media brain washed him………….
The funny thing is you judge me on an assumption with the accusation that I have these kind of generalisation of my fellow Dutchmen, which I of course have not. I don’t know you personally so how am I to know who you are or what you think. The only way to find that out is asking these kind of open questions so if you don’t want to answer them that’s ok, but don’t attack me because of, well because of what exactly?
What the f*ck is going on here? I said we cuz I am Moroccan and feel Moroccan and there fore I said we! Why should I call it they? They are also me so ”we” etc. If people do not have anything to do than go to your mommy and cry it out. Don’t you think I want peace, Dutchy? But WE ( Moroccans ) will never allow them to take land that belongs to us………..
Anyway thanks for the pics dan, those are the first pics of RMAF Gazelle I’ve ever seen!
I was generally interested in it, don’t make the mistake to confuse interest with attack on a general population.
Such an attitude is very interesting. ‘I don’t know what I’m talking about, but I have strong opinions, and I’ll run my mouth in absolute good conscience, and I lecture other from my moral superiority as “European”.’
While it is cut to watch such a blissful ignorance, out of charity here are a few facts:
The area called Ifni or Western Sahara was within Morocco before the European colonial powers carved it up between themselves in 1904-1906. Basically, France took over most of the North, and Spain took the South (plus Ceuta, Melilla, etc).
The North recovered its independence first, and when Spain finally left, it reunited the southern provinces. The only reason there is a “Polisario” army is because the Algerian have been coveting the mineral resources and the access to the Atlantic. And were helped by Ghaddafi, who would not pass up an opportunity to cause trouble. It is not like there ever was a different nation or anything. Polisario is purely based in Algeria and is basically a bunch or mercs.
But by all means continue feeling morally superior and handing out judgements like this: you are very comical, Mr self-professed “European”.
dan
That was such a nice response Dan thanks for that. you have to agree with me that the Western Sahara was illegally occupied by Morocco according to international law, UN resolutions etc. I am moral superior due to my believe in International law and in the UN then so be it.
Bleh, me too, 10000 points.
18.000 something
That Alitalia plane seems to be going a bit too fast if you ask me. But then perhapse my mind is playing tricks with me.
Steel has a higher melting point than titanium…but it’s strength to weight ratio is much worse. The reason steel was used because it is cheap to mass produce, while there are only a few SRs and even that’s too expensive.
PII, remember HyperX? That’s now the fastest “jet”, of course the SR still holds the “manned” title.
Funny thing about the Blackbird. The titanium was imported from the USSR which it supposed to spy on.
