Welcome, hope you get a lot out of this forum. Nice shot btw. I like it a lot.
But your post made me wonder why so many people hang around here for ever and then registar?
I know that in The Netherlands pilots also get fly-pay. That makes you wonder why? Do pilots really need that extra insentive. We all know that civil airlines pay much more so that can’ t be it.
Strange configuration in real life. No means for self defence, no ASRAAM or AIM-9. But it indeed looks very sweet.
Nee mag niet van de mededingingswaakghond.
WOW!
So they come out with an Extended range version, I see no problem in that.
But what stuck me more was the fact that Boeing is considering to invest in the Boeing 747 again, while I though they opted to go with the vision of more point-to-point travel hence the 7E7 and not a network with which depends on hubs. A total different vision to Airbus, which envisages route that depends on hubs.

Does anyone know how many aircraft were ordered from the two compagnies, in 2001, 2002, 2003?
I could be insulted by you, Arthur, for insulting the Dutchman like that, but then again the truth may be heard.

You are brilliant!!!!
You are both right. Two different aircraft; one VP-BDI and the VP- BAV. As for being first 😉
That was stupid of the Pakistani government to thrust a spy. He stole the plans for enriching uranium from a company in The Netherlands in the ’70’s. And now this technology is used in Iran, Pakistan, Libya etc.
His motive supposed to have been given the Muslim world the power of the Nuclear bomb. Countries like Indonesia, Malaysia ect. supposed to have also the knowledge to build a bomb. Indeed very scary stuff, the world is closer to a nuclear conflict then ever before. So keep your fingers crossed. :(.
Oh btw, there was also some money involved, so I would not rule out plain greed.
