Let me give it a shot
Bush postpones the attack on Iraq!
Washington – The American president Bush will not attack Iraq when the negotiations of the broadcast rights haven’t been completed. Today it became known that the negotiations between the government and the news broadcast agency CNN are terminated because they couldn’t agree on the sell of the television rights.
Bush regrets the course of business: “with the current CNN offer we will not drop a single bomb on Iraq. Said Bush to the press, “We have considered to relocate to a cheaper location like Cuba or Ivory cost, but our shirt sponsors didn’t approved it.”
Earlier this year the Bush administration reached an agreement with Nike regarding the dress code of the paratroopers and the marines. United Airlines sponsors the air strikes. The movie rights and the title ‘Sadamned’ are in the meantime sold to Walt Disney. With the main sponsor CNN there couldn’t be reached an agreement.
To the surprise of many, the negotiators are reconsidering a offer being made by CBS. If CBS would get the broadcasting rights then the war would be broadcast live from New York, hosted by David Letterman. In the Nevada Dessert soldiers practise in warfare with commercial breaks. The soldiers get, though the mobile phones which are integrated in their helmets, input when they should stop shooting when it’s time for the break. The proposition of the United States to included commercial breaks into a chapter of the Geneva Convention isn’t finding support with the United Nations. The Iraqi leader Hoesein demands that the commercial breaks are being subtitled in Arabic.
Enjoy my English 😛
