    Why the twin islands on the CVF design? Seems like a horrible waste of deck space to me…………

    There’s a company around here that flies Kfir C.2s (ATACS) as adversaries under contract for the Air Force and Navy……they have a couple of Drakens also…..I’v always thought they should try to buy a few MIG-29s (Fulcrum As) from Russia,…….I’m sure Russia has more than a few just sitting in fields someplace…….

    So the last non US design we gonna have is the EH 101? What a stupid policy………I would love to see the EH 101 bought in MUCH greater numbers………the Marines should have it instead of the V-22 Deathtrap….

    The US Navy should buy Rafale……….MUCH better looking than the Super Mistake I mean Hornet……

    I guess it could carrry JDAMs and storm shadow…….but does the RAF have the money for this?

    Was the Wyvern a fighter or a strike aircraft? The only other turboprop attack plane I can think of (that was actualy used in combat ) is the Pucara…….

    A couple of Marine squadrons (VFF[AW]224, 332, 533, 121, 225, and 242) fly the F-18D model exclusivly. They are used in the “all weather” attack role (supposedly replaced the A-6………rather poorly) with the rear cockpit set up as a weapon systems operators station…..

    I don’t think the US Navy could bring themselves to build an austere platform…….now they talking bout a 14000 ton 6in gun armed “DESTROYER”!

    Brazil doesn’t seem to have a navy designed to operate a carrier…..I mean, does she even have an air defence destroyer?

    Air National Guard units are usualy at civilian airports…..

    Well….if any country DOES end up with them, there’s just so many aircraft types that could operate off them……..so….more expense to buy the Harriers..
