Not really….look at the A-7………..but how can Britain….they produced the Hunter, Sea Hawk and Vulcan after all, come up with such ugly planes now? And thank God the X-32 wasnt selected as the JSF!!!!

Giving to the French….they make darn good lookin airplanes!! Why can the rest of Europe follow the lead? I mean look at Typhoon……..hidiouse!!!! and tornado…..ugh………Give me a Rafale any day!! If it looks good, it flies good…..

25 de Mayo came VERY close to launching an air strike against the British task force……7 skyhawks were on deck loaded with 3 500lb bombs, pilots in the cockpits (even started engines a couple of times) this was 3 escadrilla caza e ataque……….but there was no wind………..so, no launch……….the Brits had no AEW so 2 escadrilla’s SuEs had no real difficulty getting away once they had launched the AM.39s…….they came in at wave top hight and only pulled up every now and then to scan with their AGAVE radars………

And both sides of congress would have appeared on the front steps of the capitol and stomped on an order of french fries!

Thats why I’d like to see them upgraded like the Argies……..and MICA would be perfect for them………certainly there aren’t any othef aircraft around that could realisticaly be operated from Sao Paulo. (except MAYBE navalised JAS.39s…….and the cost would be prohibitive)

Unless they upgrade them ala Argentina’s “Fightinghawks”……….they pretty useless, other than getting their pilots fastjet time…….And I don’t see Brazil ponying up the dough for that…….

Will be good to see Brasil with a more modern fighter than Mirage 3…………Now…..what will Argentina do? Same thing?
