A350 seems to me to be so….unAirbuslike……..all it is is an A330/340 fuselage with new? wings and “787” engines. I think Airbus would have been better off just calling it what it is…A330-800? and try to get the ol finances back in order after the A380 thing is sorted out……

Whichever fighter they choose, they REALLY need to replace the Mirage 3s……those grand ladies are OLD!! My money is on the surplus Dutch F-16MLUs……

The Japanese should build REAL carriers again……..they will probably have need of them in the near future……..

USS Constellation is on display in Baltimore harbor……it is not part of the US Navy……..it is a 44 gun frigate frome the 1850s?

If the Russians actualy come up with the money to develope this new carrier I will be EXTREMELY surprised. The way things in Russia are going now, there is just NO WAY they will EVER be able to develope it, or any new aircraft to fly off it………and this so called PAK? fighter……it ain’t goin no where. No money for development.

The whole forward part of the ship is being turned into flight deck………I’ve heard that she will have 24? MIGs on board………It would be GREAT to see Indian Navy pilots train in the US…French Navy pilots go through the whole program here. Probably the best, certainly most reliable, in the world…..

CdG is due into Norfolk tommorow (fri)…………will be part of a NATO group incl Canadiean, Brit, and Spanish ships……..will try to get some pics of her as she comes in………
