RE: Georgian bombing reports

“
The US is deeply concerned about credible reports that Russian military aircraft indiscriminately bombed villages in northern Georgia “
Ari Fleischer,
White House spokesman
This reaction supprises me a bit though. I thought Russia was in the coalition against terror.
What is the United States so afraid of? It can’t be of the pipeline going through Georgia …
RE: World Summit on sustainable development in Johannesburg
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 26-08-02 AT 01:36 PM (GMT)]Both the US and the EU have already said they will NOT give any more money to the ‘underdevelopped’ countries during this summit. The EU will probably just buy more ‘air’ from Russia. The polluter pays (and damn right he will).

RE: Windows XP
Maybe the problem lays with me, but I’m not the only one facing these problems. It’s true what I said, I called the KBC-helpdesk and now I solved the problem.
Pity I forgot my password, cause I’ll have to make another account. Damn caps lock!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 26-08-02 AT 09:48 AM (GMT)]I don’t know, but it says you are required to download Java. Is there maybe just an option on the computer where you can enable Java or something? It used to work fine when I had Windows 2000, but now the problems start.
I guess I better reinstall 2000 again. It’s really sad when you have to say an older product is better. If it weren’t that MS had a monopoly, they would have been declared banckrupt already a zillion times!!!! User-friendly my ass!!!!

RE: Iraqi Invitation (Part2)
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 26-08-02 AT 08:24 AM (GMT)]Terrorism is more than Al Quada alone, Vortex. Europe was combatting terrorists which threatened Europe like the GIA, the Red brigades, the IRA and the Basque seperation movements … long before 9/11. Many of these terrorists are imprisonned here, so don’t come telling us what to do with terrorists.
Also, the military campaign in Afghanistan was succesful on the short run. The muppet-regime in Kabul will fall in maybe 6 months, a year. Afghanistan still has the feodal system and there’s not much America can do about it. Women are still threated bad, there are still some skirmishes between local generals and, it’s still a very unsafe country. Those are the facts. I don’t think Iraq is waiting to become a second Afghanistan, with a pro-US leader who has no real power and a bunch of anarchists who keep terrorising their own population.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 26-08-02 AT 08:25 AM (GMT)]Ofcourse it was because of the F-4 acting as a MiG, Fer is right. Before you accuse me, try to check the original message, and than you’ll see I was replying to that.
If you think the idea of a F-4 acting as a MiG-29 is ‘cool’, than you are the big loser here.
Ever seen the movie ” A beautiful mind”, Phantom? Or Rainman?
