Blaming the asylum-seakers, give me a break! With 33% of people voting extreme-right in some areas here, I can say we in our western world are being spoilt, like small children, who only want more and more! I hate it when our own unemployed are nagging because they don’t get enough money from the gov’t and then blame the immigrants. Then I say : move your lazy ass and work!!!!
Comet, your Gran had to wait, not because of asylum-seakers, but because of the bad health-care in your country. In the area where I used to live (Koksijde) we had lots of British people who came to get a surgery in Belgium because the lists in their own country were too long. Now should I say : go home Brittons? This hospital is for Belgians only !? Since my mother is a doctor I realise what the situation is here in the health-care. We’ve got thousands of British and Dutch ‘immigrants’ (ohh sorry European citizens) jumping the borders each year because Belgium has got the best health-care in Europe.
Hypocrisie of this world, sorry for being so radical.
I think western-Europe really needs a crisis (not some virtual financial crisis but a real one) before people can realise how good we have it here, instead of always nagging and blaming the immigrants. How come all the people who have seen WWII (and know what suffering is) are not so frustrated when dealing with immigrants?
