You mean the F-4F’s from the Luftwaffe Sauron? I’ve seen F-4F’s a couple of times in the airshow in Koksijde, those engines are really loud. Nice for a while, but I wouldn’t want to wake up with that sound every morning. I also saw the Blue Angels years ago, but I was too young to remember all of it, pity. Lately, I’ve seen all sorts of jets flying over my house, M-2K’s, F-4F’s, F-15’s … nice. Two uears ago, I also saw a B-1B in Ravels. I’m still waiting to see a B-52H? Does anybody know where I can find them in the Benelux, France or Germany (some airshow).

You are only allowed to transport goods in the EU-zone when it is for your own use, not to sell it. I don’t think two trucks loaded with cigarettes are for own use. There’s a small bordertown not far from where I live, all the people moved away, the only business they still have is selling cigarettes to Britons. Sad

Youāre on your own. You know what the soldiers were shouting when bullets flew over their heads? Singing their national hymne? They were crying for help, for their mother. With this remark, you just showed you have no clue what war is about. I’ve met people who’ve been in war, they all say “never again”.

Some good points you have there, JJ. I also believe that the latest offer made by SA (to recognise the “state of Israel”) was one to get more popular with the west (especially with the US) rather than being concerned about Israeli lives. But I don’t think they would want to eradicate Israel, mainly because they know they will suffer heavy losses. You are not going to send your sons into battle because of some principles. Saddam is probably the only one eager to fight with Israel, because he has nothing to lose anymore. US and UK will bomb him anyway, it doesn’t matter if Israel joins that coalition or not.

Ask yourself why no that instead of that, officers and men are refusing to serve. Some of your fine men know the difference between right and wrong. This goes to the credit of your society. I have lots of sympathy for IDF-soldiers. I wouldn’t like to be one, in fact, I would also refuse to serve. Especially if they are conscripts, 20-year old boys shouldn’t be used to defend the settlements of some assholes who don’t wanna give up one inch of their territories. That’s very selfish. If I were a soldier, I would probably react in a very similar way than IDF-soldiers are doing right now. Can you imagine what stress they have to suffer from, responsabilities?

Come on, OK, you are probably not best friends with Syria, Iraq, Iran etc, but there are also moderate regimes like Jordan, Saudi-Arabia, Egypt ā¦ Criticizing Israel is not the same as destroying Israel.

I think the IRA was very good organised, probably even better than Hezbollah or Hamas. PA is NOT a terrorist organisation, at least I wonāt call it, as it is not on the list of the EU-terrorist organisations. (maybe in the US, I donāt know, but for me it still is legitimate). PA so far is the only organisation who represents the people of Palestine. Once PA will be destroyed, Hamas and Jihad will take over their job (like education), and they are probably a lot worse, because they ARE terrorists.
When I talk about Palestinians as terrorists, ofcourse not the entire population is mentioned.
I know what you mean, as you never said you donāt like Palestinians. 80 % of those people want to have a calm and peaceful life, just as 80 % of the Israeliās want to have. A small minority makes this impossible by both letting the PA and Israeliās look bad.
Regarding my dislike of Palestinians, I don’t think my views on them can ever be changed. I simply have no respect for them.

The bulldozer incident was just an answer on JJ saying that Israel uses precision guided munitions to avoid ācollateral damageā. You say it yourself, bulldozers donāt fall under this category. It may not have been the best picture, but it is reality, even though it happened only a couple of times. Luckily these people already live in dumps, so we donāt have to worry about them. It can only become better for them.
