You say I didn’t move an inch, well I did. If you look at previous posts, I’m always moderate when it comes to this kind of discussions, but I do have problems with Sharon as a person, not because he’s the prime minister of Israel, but because of his past.
Everybody is here to learn, I learn new things all day.

He says it himself Also, I never said I knew everything about this subject, but I have the right to have my opinion on this matter. If Phantom can’t deal with this, than that’s his problem. I (and many others like Arthur, Serendib, Pakistani) warned him a couple of times (just look at his ratings). If you are biased, at least admit it, but don’t try to sound as if it’s the truth. Having a conservative view on this conflict is one thing, but blaming the Palestinians for living in dumps, is just racism. I know Phantom didn’t mean to say this, but he should be more careful. I also had similar problems in the past, but I learned from it, and now respect everybody’s opinion, eventhough I don’t agree with them.

P2, you should have known this, how do you want me to take you serious if you badmouth liberalism while it is the basic constitution your country (on which you are so damn proud) was build on. My mother flew with Iberia to JBG and she said it was an excellent service. Correct to the point, good food, friendly stewards. Next time, i’ll go for KLM. It’s a bit more expensive, but they have a very good reputation. So has AF, but not with me anymore.

E.U. is not an important organisation, Palestinians don’t diserve a country because they are not willing to sign a document which was made up by the Israeli’s without any Palestinian input whatsoever.
Since when do you know that much about the E.U.? You live in an isolated world Phantom, besides Israel and America, there are some 5.8 billion other people living in this world. They also have a right to exist. If you want it that way, US is also a big joke because they’ve been to war 150 years ago because of a slavery-issue. You see how stupid this sounds?
Ohh and the Palestinians live in dumps. Well, ever been to NYC? Ground zero? What is this? A remainder of a huge disaster, so are the Palestinian cities. Dresden, Sarajevo, Hanoi, these people also lived in dumps, that’s why we should give them little respect, because our beloved west has got the money to build modern cities.
Don’t talk about me being simplistic, in fact, I’ve spoken to some journalists from the Economist (friends from my brother). People who have been in the West Bank don’t say such stupid, narrow-minded things like you. For Skythe and JJ, they are just supporting their country, which is normal. They also respect my opinion on this matter, eventhough we don’t agree at all. Calling me simplistic, blind will not make you more popular, because just looking at your arguments, every person with a common sence must look through this.

I think Israel should consider buying better weapons, because their laser and tv-guided bombs are not that accurate anymore. I hope they fix the problem soon.

The SA government is now the main stockholder again, but I hope they don’t make the same mistakes as the Belgian gov. did with Sabena.
Anyway, SAA also sponsers the wildlife in Africa (Krugerpark), which is very expensive, so they must have enough money.
In the Apartheidsmuseum in Jo’burg, I’ve seen a SAA B-747 painted in the olympic colors, to promote the new SA.

The EU is a big joke, ok, that’s your problem. Fact is the EU is Israel’s second largest trade partner, and Israel does care about what sanctions the EU would take.
When did I ever said I supported terrorism. Why the hell should I say this? Who has made that up? As much as you would like me to say such stupid things, killing innocent civilians is bad, I don’t care about Israeli’s or Palestinians. Arafat should condemn all attacks, but there must be a root for this terrorism. Terrorism doesn’t come alone, there’s a reason why it exists. Israel should work on this.
Phantom, you describe the Palestinians as one bunch of terrorists. Did I ever say such things about Israeli’s? In fact, I have pity with the 99% of Israeli’s who have to suffer from dialy losses because 1% of hardliners like Sharon don’t want to give up anything. It will have to come from both sides anyway. If you don’t understand this, well, than you shouldn’t judge the Palestinians. They are NOT all terrorists, believe me. Your posts was highly offended, you may say Arafat is a terrorist, but do not offend a whole people. Personally, I also have my doubts on Arafat reading that latest document from Skythe. But there has to be a leader anyway, unless you want to create anarchy. Like I said in the past, the PA is as responsable as Israel, but that doesn’t give Israel the right to attack refugee camps … It is not I who say that, it is the UN, the EU. You don’t show the least of respect for these organisations, it looks like your world is only focused on the US and Israel, well, in case you don’t know: there are others!!

Well, let me just say one thing : SAA is a lot better than Air France. Cuisine, quality of seats, fresh air, friendly stewards. SAA is probably the best service i have ever flown with.

Sorry P2, I didn’t read all of it, it just went over it quickly. But who are the bad guys? Want to start like this? In a war there aren’t bad and good guys, this shows how simplistic you are, sorry, p2. I never said PA’s are the good guys, because I know they are also quilty, as much as Israel. But Israel’s latest attacks are not justified, and the US shouldn’t stay out of it, as they are a VETO member of the UN safety-council. So they do have something to do about it. And the US is the largest trade partner of Israel, followed by Belgium (something I read in Economist). Don’t talk about me being blind, pal, you’re just looking from one perspective. I’ve met Israeli’s who also agree with what I just said, actually just a couple of days ago, on my vacation.
Please Phantom, don’t talk about the good and the bad guys. Hitler also said they were with the good guys. (Now you’re gonna say: look he’s comparing Hitler again with Israel, but I’m not, ok???)
