Nice to see some Boly enthusiasm, in response to Deryck, I believe only 15 Mk 4 Ws were built, I have included picture of engine operation data plate for a W with the Wasp Juniors, cheers.
Thanks guys Tony, Graham, been sifting through a lot of parts lately, some for you Tony, cheers Darerll
Thanks again Mrk, Air Ministry, I have an Anson manual but not a parts schedule which would help immensely, Darrell
Thanks fellas Mark, Peter, gonna take me forever to sort all this out, cheers Darrell
Hello Deryck, I know the “boys” well at Trenton, but never enough time to go there as much as I would like, yes this is a batch of parts to start I do have plenty of extras, but it appears mk 1 and mk 2 are a little different, just looking for a blow up diagram for parts , cheers Darrell
Thanks Mark, I will get some pix and post them soon, show you what I am up against, Darrell
Thanks for noticing Brewerjerry, this project is in Oshawa, it is a one man show and in total about 70 % of the parts needed to start rebuilding. Despite what people might think there are NOT airplanes all over the place to just go and get stuff from. The Boly will be finished in its original BCATP use as a Air Gunners platform, what I have been able to find it is RCAF # 10114, thanks Darrell
Thanks for the info Skipper, I managed to get some pictures, really not sure what I am up against moneywise here, but neat item for sure, Darrell
Excellent work gentlemen, really appreciate the range of knowledge of the forumites, Darrell
At the ends of the framework is 2 “locking pins” so either could be temporary or a securing feature? no other guesses fellas? cheers Darrell
