Now that the wreckage is visible – I too ponder why no survivors ?

As reflected upon by Bmused55 there have been survivors from far worse crashes, and this was within the airport just short of the tower. Fire attendance could not have been delayed as they have been thanked by the Mayor for their part.

It must be awful for the bereaved to see the video footage and wreckage as they must have the same grief stricken questions – why no survivors ?

Although the Fuse is Ally, the Floor (And lots of other bits including the Cockpit floor and all the panels in the ‘pit) are CFRP. Gives off very very toxic gases once alight and burns very easily once alight. Overcome by fumes or very high temperature I would suspect.

Similar vain, he was doing Electricity at School and consequently got an overconfidence in Plugs and Sockets. Having explained that it kills if not treated with respect he started asking how it kills, again, explanations on heart stopping and muscle spasms etc.
So, I found on YouTube a clip of an Indian man walking along the roof of a train…..you guessed it, ZAP…he falls down dead in the same position he grabbed the wire and then starts to ignite and burn.
Now, he fully respects electricity! Shock tactics (No pun intended)

And, I’m sure I saw in a Museum (Manchester or Liverpool) that the origin of the word sh1t was due to an area in Manchester called the Sh1tters, a very poor area on the River, where the people would openly poo from their window into the River.
Most origin websites suggest it was from the German word for diarrhoea……which is Greek for “Flowing through”.
